Is Anyone Else Who Filed in June Waiting for NOA2?

They're on June 8th?! That's great news. I'm June 30th so I hope it isn't longer than a month or two before the NoA2. I've been reading on here that London is pretty quick after they receive the appropriate paperwork around the interview stage, is this true?

It may say they're on June 8th, but that doesn't mean everyone before June 8th has been approved.... we are June 1st, and haven't been "touched" since June 7th... so hoping for this week!

Yeah, we haven't been touched since the July 9th. From what I understand touched dates aren't always accurate. It seems some people have been approved without ever getting updated via web or phone and others are touched 2 days before receiving their NOA2's in the mail. You just may see it this week, here's hoping!

I wish they were more consistent.

mine was recv on june 25th, and got rfe'd on 7/23 --- I dont think there is a method to how they process the petitions

I'm just hoping no news is good news at this point. I know there's no logic to this, but I keep thinking we'd have received an RFE by now if one was necessary. At least that's what I keep telling myself to stay positive.

If you read the new rules and regulations YES a K1 does expire and it is usually 6 months from the date of the NOA1.. Everyone has a different view of what happens.. The only one who knows is USCIS! Good Luck to everyone!

I thought the K-1 expires 6 months after the POE? It wouldn't make sense for the K-1 expiration to be tied to the NOA1 as the NOA1 isn't an approval. Not even the NOA2 is an approval as there are still months of waiting involving the interviews and medical appointments and flights.

I too applied in June, and was last "touched" June 30th. I signed up tonight to read this thinking I would feel a little better, but I guess after reading how many people are out there also waiting , it has just made me feel a little more impatient and down. I fear this will never happen! Am I wrong in thinking that the 5 months was supposed to be from start to end, actually receiving the visa???

Me too. It is true for some people. It all depends on the luck of the draw I guess. We're planning a wedding for April 30th next year in hopes he'll actually have his visa by late February.

I too, was hoping it was going to be 5-6 months from start to finish, now we are talking 5 months just to recieve the NOA2 - I am now thinking if the NOA2 does take 5 months, it is going to be close to a year that this process has taken which is officially pants

I got my NOA1 June 1, 2010.. and we still waiting our NOA2.. i feel so stressed
