I am just curious.. We filed our K1, check cashed and hard copy with number on NOA1 dated June 2, 2010 was received.. So far, it has touched twice and I talked to my Senator and was told California is behind.. Is anyone else still waiting? My fiance and I are both so anxious and getting extremely nervous.. Thank you all for your time..

There are April filers still waiting for NOA2 - honestly until you've been in the system 5 months with nothing, then you can begin to wonder where it is - until that 5 months is up it doesnt matter if you're the last person on earth still waiting. Try and relax a little or it will do your head in :)

Unfortunately 5 months is the advertised average processing time for the K1 visa - until you have been in the system 5 months from the NOA1 there is nothing that can be done.

Mine was 91 days NOA1 to NOA2 and that felt like eternity. A fellow April filer got theirs 2 days ago, another still waits. It is draining to say the least if you allow it to take over your life so dont :)

It is 5 months until interview, according to my Senator and California Customer Service.. The K1 has an expiration date (usually) 6 months from the date of the NOA1.. Now with the new mailing address, Texas, who knows what is going on.. I fear the RFE, denial, just everything.. I do have to relax, we both do.. We all do actually need to relax.. I will try..

Please try - I had an RFE and I still got mine in 91 days - Im 2 days from the interview now so about 4 1/2 months since I filed. I look back at the days between NOA1 and NOA2 and I was an emotional basket case - silly things stressed me out and made me cry but it didnt make this whole thing go any faster! You just need to enjoy one day at a time and lean on people who understand :D

I'm not sure what country you are in, but we also got our NOA1 Date of June 2nd (See signature for timeline) and are still waiting, and being from Canada and having to go to the Montreal consulate, which from what I've gathered is one of the slowest ones... I have to wait until November before I can even call to see what is going on and why I haven't gotten an NOA2.... and even when that goes through the wait for an interview is 3-6 months I've heard :S I have really been trying to not think about it lately cause it can really make you feel depressed and sad if you dwell on it, no matter what it will come and patients is the key, it's just not always easy every day :(

NoA1 dated June 1st, touched June 7th... still waiting for NoA2.

And, like Liltiggster, I'll be going through the Montreal consulate... so sadly, this may be the "short" part of the wait for us. Hoping for NoA2 this week. Trying to keep the faith for it.

Look on the bright side.... if we DO all have to wait 5 months to start making a stink about not getting NoA2.. we're alomst 3/5ths of the way there! haha... I'm trying to just keep myself sane by remembering it will happen when it happens, and I can't control it... as much as I wish I could!

We are feeling it to, more so as the days continue, I know its hasnt been close to 5 months but seeing the different time frames it always gave us hope but this week has been tough. We are hoping to be together for the holidays so she can meet my side of my family in person besides using Skype web chatting. I decided to sign up today because I felt that perhaps I can use this as a means to keep my sanity and perhaps meeting friends along the way. I hope that every one here as well as myself can get through this first hurdle and let it be all down hill from the NOA2

Hang in there, as I know exactly how you all are feeling

If you go to Visa Journey Home Page, click on the 2nd paragraph, Immigration Timeline section.. Then about the middle of the page, 2nd column labeled "Statistics", you can choose "Historical Trends".. You can also go same page (after click on Immigration Timeline) and the 3rd column is a brief (and not 100% accurate) quick look.. As for writing this paragraph, for CSC (California where I send my papers) they are processing June 8th. Hope that helps..

We are doing our best to be patient! I send my best to all of you waiting also.. Thank you all for the kind words..

i went on www.uscis.gov

then clicked on check my case status, after i filled in the number it said initial review unde ryou can check the timelines

but after you fill in type of form service center etc.. theres another option under that rgaph that shows up and i clicked on that to see what it was then i could select the service center etc.. and it shows how many people have sent files how many have been accepted how many are pending etc..

This is completely wrong

Once you get the VISA, there is a 6 month expiration date, not the NOA1. NOA1 doesn't expire...we've had people on VJ get NOA2 more than a year after. 5 months until interview? What the heck?
