okay we are just about to send off our I-864 and I-864A:

Wife: USC

Me: UKC

We know that my wifes income cannot be used becuase it is UK based, therefore we were just going to include the I-864 and her 2005 US tax return for her section of the documentation, My question is, is there anypoint in sending in her pay stubs, letter from employer, etc as we know she wont qualify.? is this a requirement or a "you can send if you want"

The I-864A we are submitting with our I-864 will have the following information & documentation from our household member

1. Birth Cert: To prove Citizenship

2. Marriage Cert: To prove relationship to Sponsor (stepfather)

3. Letter from employer / Pay stubs

4. Photocopy of driving licence: to show residency

5. IRS transcript for last 3 years

I personally believe that the more documentation you send in, the better. So even if your wife's income alone is insufficient, send it all in anyway. I'm sure they'll be looking for it. Plus, include a cover letter explaining everything, that you're including her documentation along with your co-sponsor's, etc.

Good luck and don't forget to let us know how it goes
