i guess that depends on what kind of "chicken soup" it is. if all you've ever had is Campbell's, then tasting even Progresso for the first time might seem like a treat... hahaha. just remember that it works both ways, though. all things being equal, women would prefer grade A angus beef over "chopped meat" if they have a choice. so yes, they will feel envious (not necessarily regretful) when they see women like themselves with younger, attractive men. there's nothing you can do about that. all you can do is take care of yourself and be a good guy. the good thing about being "mature" is that we should have less of an ego by now, and are [hopefully] more financially secure than a twenty-something. i wouldn't worry about it too much...

My question is : can she handle the age gap. What will happen when we go to the gym or dance class and she sees young couples having fun? Will she regrets? that is my fear.

About me I care less what people think. One thing for sure, once some one taste fresh chicken soup, it is hard to go back to old chicken soup.

She should know how to handle it. When she decided to have relationship with you, she already know that you and her have 22 years age gap. If age bothers her, then she shouldn't agree to be your girl in the first place and much more to be your fiance, unless there's other reasons (not judging at all, just making sense).

One thing I can advise base on my own experience, nevertheless I regret my decision to move here, get married and start over again my life and career because I love the guy I marry. Though my life here isn't easy as expected, but married life is just wonderful to overcome it. So, if there's real LOVE, regret and fear shouldn't be part of your marriage or relationship.

I have seen and meet many guys and girls where the man was more than 30 years older than the female.

If you going to PI to find a wife it's usually best to find a girl in her early 20's, No matter what the man's age is.......

I am not the norm in this case. I didn't want to marry a young girl. My oldest daughter is 15 and I didn't want a wife closer to her age than mine. More importantly though is that I wanted a woman that would grow old with me at the same time.

My husband and I are surrounded with FIL-AM couples who have GIGANTIC age differences...yours is nothing!

First couple : She is 30 and He is now 75....they have a 5 yr old daughter....they got married when she was only 25 and he 70....BUT, they seem genuinely happy and she takes good care of him.

Second couple : She is now 35 and he 70...no kids. Been married for 7 years and still very happy

I can't say age doesn't matter, cause it mattered to me when I was "searching" but bottomline is its all about preference!Take care of yourself, be confident and secure in your age.
