Congratulations to your hubby JA Tam on finally getting his Oath letter. Unfortunately we don't have the same date for it, but the good thing is, he got his date...YEAH!!!!

I am so mad. We just got a letter from USCIS that hubby has been descheduled for March 2nd. No new date

Apparently it is their special term. No new date so far. Got some information that there was some mix-up with oath ceremony dates and they cancelled oath ceremonies for March 2nd and 9th. Hopefully we get the new date soon - I have my fingers crossed that the new date is in the mail this week.

My wife had her Interview this morning at 8:20AM. I got a nice call from her at 8:39AM she passed her interview. I will get the details from here later on. Weird thing is she said they will send out a letter for her Oath ceremony later on. Our office is in Fairfax, VA. and they usually do same day Oath Ceremony. We did made an info pass appointment a few weeks ago stressing our travel plans next week and why we couldn't do the same day Oath ceremony. Again, I will get the full details from her and will write about it here. Thanks for all your support everyone. Our journey is coming to an end finally.

Got clarification from my wife. Originally we had intended on changing her middle name but changed our mind mid way through the process. They didn't ask her if she wanted to change her name and she forgot to tell them. I still think they do same day Oath Ceremony. The Oath letter was most likely them assuming she wanted to change her name. Oh well... we're leave it as is.

She said they didn't look at any of the document she presented as they had all the paperwork in the original package.

They asked her a few questions from the N400 form. And she answered them all. They than asked her 6 questions.

Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?

Name three of the 13 original colonies.

Who is the commander-in-chief?

Name on state that borders Mexico.

What political party does the current President belong to?

What are the two major political party?

After that they asked her to read a few lines. And asked her to write the answer to a question they had. The question they had her write the answer to was.

How many US Senators are there?

I interviewed (N400) on February 1 @ Oakland Park field office and have yet to receive an oath letter.

Checked Bonnerbonner (oath taken) and I know your husband is waiting for oath letter too.

I have an infopass appt on March 1 and will update with any new info.
