Congrats Danny and Jodee. Whow Jodee a special phone call... Lucky you! And a call with good news too. Was her number blocked? Good thing u got the confirmed email cuz don't u need to take the oath letter with you? A month from tomorrow will be my interview.

Funny thing, is that on Monday, I called the hotline, and explained what the IO had said to me about interview dates, the gentleman said to me, he could see I was in line to be scheduled but had no date for me, and had no real answer for me. I was asking more about the ceremony on base for today, as I would of needed to know, so hubby could get the time off to attend. he asked me my IO's name, then he said, here is her direct number. I was in shock! But I didn't want to call. I did not want to push it you know. She was

doing her best, and I was afraid that if I called and asked, I would be scheduled for Jan or Feb, when hubby is away on course, or March, or April even,..just for being impatient.

So i just left it, and then while I was upstairs yesterday, my cell phone rang, and I couldnt answer it, as I was right in the middle of wrapping a christmas present....and when I checked my voicemail, it was the IO, and she gave me her number again to call her. But yes, when I checked the call log, it was a blocked number.

She told me she hadn't forgotten but it was not possible to get me into the ceremony on base, but had scheduled me for the 16th in L.A. She wanted to give me enough time to get organized, on the off chance my letter did not turn up. She said if I did not receive it by mail Tuesday, to call her back,..and she would email me something to print out, confirming my attendance, and what I needed to take. She said if I didnt receive the letter, the email would suffice to get in, as I would be on the list.

She was even nice enough to send me an email yesterday after our call to confirm the phone call....

So there you have it!

OMG!!! That is awesome, and am so jealous, lol, just kidding. So I guess they are real people too, lol. I wish u all the best Jodee and good luck. After the oath write in and let us know if you got the new certificate with your picture digitized.

Hello everyone, I completed my biometrics last Septmeber but I still haven't heard back from USCIS regarding an interview. It is now almost 2.5 months after biometrics. I called the 1-800 customer service number but I was told it can take up to 90 days after fingerprinting for an interview and that I should wait. It is approaching the 90 days that I was told. Is anyone in a similar situation? Any suggestions? Thanks,

Jodee - that's awesome and that's great that you got such a nice IO. Can't wait to hear about the oath ceremony from both you and Danny. You guys were tracking right in line with each other.

Bonner - it's coming down to the wire for both of us. I just realized that it's exactly 4 weeks from today that hubby will do his interview...YAY! I hope we get the same oath ceremony so we can get to see you!

new123 - That's been a long time, but I think all you can do is wait to either hear from them or reach the 90 day mark. I have been reading that a few people have gotten Tier 2 supervisors to get some answers. I guess that's a route you could take. Also, a few people have called and verified with the FBI number that the name check was completed. The number is 304-625-5590. What field office are you expecting to have an interview?

have u heard from uscis yet? i have the same experience and they told me the same thing..it sucks

Ja Tam: thank you for your reply, when I called the1-800 customer service #, I did talk to a supervisor and that's when I was told that it can take up to 90 days after fingerprinting for interview scheduling.

Do you guys think scheduling an infopass would be useful now or should I wait?

Finally got an email from USCIS that my case was already transferred to the local office. Any idea how long will it take to get my IL? Thanks!

It took me 2 days to get an IL after the transfer message. I think not more than a week. Good Luck!
