Hi all,

My wife got the Green Card and now we are planning a trip back to China. Her Last name has chanced to mine after marriage and that's what's showing on her green card, which is different from what's showing in her Chinese Passport. Anyone know if she will need to update her last name in Chinese Passport before we leave the US?

is possible to do this, at China Embassy/Consulate in USA - but - is it worth it? hard to say...

can carry (in the airports)

--passport (tickets must be purchased in passport name)

--greencard (allows her to re-enter usa)

--certified marriage document (shows married and single name, linking up the passport and greencard)

then will have no problems at the POE in USA.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
