Finally, my mums I-130 has been approved just few days after calling USCIS.

I called on Monday 8/23/10 and complained about the processing time. I also

requested for expedite processing which was approved the same day.

The case was touched for the first time since April on Tuesday 8/24/10, and today

I received an email stating that they sent me a mail dated 8/26/10 that the case has

been approved.

I thank God for His continued goodness and mercies upon my family.

It is always good to listen to advise on this forum and take action. Somebody advised me

last week to call and boy I'm glad I did.

are you handling NVC stuff now ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

My sis,

Listen, in this land don't be afraid to ask questions or try tbings. I would definitely suggest you apply for expedite. I think cases like yours are exactly why they have expedited processing. When I applied for expedited processing, the man mentioned that I would base it on financial, emotional or health reasons. I chose financial because I need my mother here asap so that my wife will resume her job. She had to stop working to take care of the kids. Anyhow, go for it. Csll and request for expedited processing based on emotional reasons.

On the other issue, I really think you need a co-sponsor since your husband is not working at this time. With a co-sponsor and past filed taxes, I think you'll be okay. Goodluck and if you need further assistance, email me personally. God bless you.
