body of missing woman found in clutter at home

LAS VEGAS — A four-month search for a missing Las Vegas woman has come to an end in the unlikeliest of places: her own home.

The Clark County Coroner's office said Friday that the corpse found in the clutter-filled home belongs to 67-year-old Billie Jean James. A spokeswoman says it could take weeks to determine when and how she died.

Police say her husband made the shocking discovery this week.

Police say they searched the home several times — even using dogs from a unit that helped locate bodies at ground zero after Sept. 11. But they were unable to find the body amid the hoards of clothes, knickknacks and other junk.

The woman's husband has not been named as a suspect.

My husband's ex is like this. We just found out that, because their bunk beds are too cluttered (that is 2 beds per child, for crying out loud) one child sleeps on the couch and one on the floor. You can barely move in their house, it is so packed with #######. Now we gotta figure out what to do about it. School has started, they can't possibly do well at school if they slept on the floor, you can't get a good rest on a floor. Sigh.

Yeah, there are some pretty strange stories about hoarders.

Everytime I read something like this, it reminds me of TV show I once saw about the Collyer brothers. They were hoarders and a bit paranoid too. One brother got crushed by one of his own booby traps and the other brother, who was disabled, starved to death. Although police suspected their demise, it took several weeks to actually get through all the junk and confirm it.

Look at what this guy purchased from someone so he could flip it. I will never understand how some people can get to that point. I hate dirt and clutter and my wife goes crazy if she imagines that she seen a speck of dirty somewhere....I just don't understand it is possible to be so nasty.
