30-06 is far more common than .303 enfield in the usa - scavenging for ammo makes the 30-06 far more capable.

That may be enough to shoot deer, but what are you going to shoot the zombies with?

A filter of some type is a great investment. Bleach, boiling, etc. will work, but sh!tting your guts out for two weeks straight really sucks, especially when you're running a fever and running out of ammo. And have no TP!

Just because the rifle can do it doesn't mean you can. Shooting at 1000 is EXTREMELY hard.

She doesn't like guns so I have to keep the closet door closed as she goes nuts if she sees my armory.

I carry a 380 lcp when we go walking in the woods in case we meet a grizzly. I will have to shoot it from the inside like jonah and the whale

She has no idea I have my lcp as it is smaller than my wallet - what with me being wadded up after pension day !
