Hello fellow VJ'ers -

Very Happy for all these recent approvals! It seems that folks who filed in April - could have an interview by November; If only we could an interview 'date' - would not only make things easier to plan - but would have peace of mind, that it's coming! At any rate. I am compiling a list of documents that my USC fiance, needs to provide to me for the interview; and I would appreciate any in-put on anything that I may have missed. So, here goes:

Complete copy of I-129f

Letter of intent

Form I-134 (using I-864 guidleines)

Last year Income tax Federal return (he is re-tired so doesn't have a W-2, but will send me his latest statement of deposit for his pension)

Proof of domicile basically phone bill, power billetc., with his name and address on it

DS-230

Original of late wife's death certificate

Letter from his bank "s" stating when he opened acct's and current balance

Do I need his birth certificate - he was born in USA OR copy of passport?

Am i missing anything?

He will be coming up for a visit Yeahhhhhh, in a few weeks

Thanks in advance

Don't know what i would do without VJ!

I just called DOS this morning and still nothing...to add to your list, I have my engagement ring receipt, I used his lease as our proof of domicile..any paperwork to backup the I-134 answers(insurance statements, stock bond statements etc. if you listed an assets you will need the proof of those as well) if he has any proof on your on-going relationship...ie photos plane, stubs etc. thats all i can think off the top of my head...

why did you say using I-864 guidleines??? we just followed the instructions of the I-134..?!

Hey

I know how that feeling is when 'they' say nothing new! arghhhhhhhhhhhh

I said guide for i-864 as someone told me it was the same as the i-134 and couldn't find any specific guide for the i-134? did you find one?

I didnt list the proof of ongoing as I pretty much have all that stuff and tons of it at that, lol

Ken owns his home so i guess a copy of his deed would work too but i think anything that shows where he lives etc., is good.

TIf I remeber correctly it was only Pat 1 that you filled out and sent with P3//I would bring a copy of part 1 and then an empty of part 2 as that is filled out infront of the officer.

Oh there were instructions to the I-134 but no real guide...it was only 2 pages long and seemed quite self expanatory except for the last question (11)....the intend or do not intend...for this we checked intend and then put comments that it was a k1 visa or soemthing to that effect....

Life is like a roller coaster. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride!
