Waiting on Interview Date to be Assigned

Got CC early on August (08/11/10) and received interview date yesterday 08/28/10 for October.

I'm sorry, but I still don't understand how NVC schedules.

It doesn't make sense at all Nica, It's confusing because you cannot really rely on the fact that your case was closed before theirs and they have an interview date and you dont.... they mess with your head!! just hang in there, I keep praying for you and Teya!

I know, It's crazy and sad! I was praying hard for September but that didn't happen. But God knows what He's doing, we'll see if we get October.

I know I can't wait to do the dance with Teya either!

OMG GUYS!

I was logged in Yahoo messenger chatting with husband, it usually tells me when I have new mail, but since it didn't say I did I didn't care to open my inbox. I decided I was going to delete some old ones, and what is my surprise I have an email from the NVC and another from our lawyer, FINALLY we have our interview date!!!!!

October 22nd at 8:00AM!

Congrats on the interview date! Hooray I am waiting for my NOA2 also. Been 6+months waiting really sucks. That was great news. I can't wait to hear something UGH! Talk about being patient!

SIF received my yesterday, today starts the countdown, waiting for date of interview, I made up the embassy in Colombia, appears to have been taking between 1 month and up to 2 months to assign the interview appointment, I pray that this is not our case and get on the list of interviews for the month of October

Hey everybody! I Got my date. Oct. 25 @7:00 am.

Jul 24- RFE received by NVC

Aug 19- Case completed

Aug 31- Received nvc email @ 6:09 pm. Interview date set for Oct 25 @ 7:00a.m. My husband (petitioner) received a call simultaneously.

Sep 01- AVR not updated. Recording still says "Case Completed on.....Wait 6-8 weeks for further instructions.

I just mailed NVC my husband's DS-230 last weekend, but I'm also hoping for a November interview (my birthday and my husband's, and our anniversary).. I wonder if anybody knows if NVC schedules the interview for Philippines or if the embassy does it. I've read that some CR-1/IR-1 filers called the embassy and got their interview date, but some of them said NVC gives the dates..
