Hey there, just wanted to see how many of us are still waiting for an interview date to be appointed. My case was closed on 08/09/10 along with many other cases that were waiting to be closed. Most of the people on that thread got their interview dates right away. I was happy when I started seeing all of them popping out their dates, I felt I was going to be receive mine soon. Especially because the Embassy here in Nicaragua is quite small, they're not too busy, and there aren't too many applicants. However, to our surprise and frustration we didn't get a date for September, and we're still waiting to get the letter.

I e-mailed the US Embassy here and they said they had already received the cases for September and ours wasn't there, that they didn't know why the NVC didn't forward it yet and that only the NVC can schedule the appointment. They even suggested to e-mail the NVC asking when was our case going to be forwarded to them.

My husband called the NVC tonight and the same response was given, that we didn't make the September interviews (oh really?!) and that it was IMPOSSIBLE to predict when we will get a date, that all embassies are different, etc etc. So, all we can do is just sit tight and wait. I just wonder if our case is just sitting somewhere and no one is trying to schedule with the US Embassy.

We are very much in the same boat. Embassy say's they don't have doc's. NVC is giving same info that there's no way to know when will be scheduled. Hanging in there right now...

It sucks not being able to do anything about it!

Nica it really sucks when they play these games with people's lives!! I hope they get it together and give you a date already!! Specially if the embassy is not even busy!!! that is crazy....

I hope you hear some news soon!!:D

I´ll be waiting for an interview date for a while, as far as I know CDJ Consulate is one of the most bussiest. So I´ll consider myself lucky if we get an October interview. Good luck.

Our case was closed June 29, and from this day we hope or wait my husband called to NVC and I was write to embassy in Bogota and nothing, then I look here VJ some couple from India and Arabia they got date interview for September but they dont want them date because would like wait time up even still December :wow::whistle: , I would like kow politics exactly of NVC for give date interview.

Embassy in Bogota is big and very busy but I look other couples from Colombia with CR1 that got in time short date interview, other couple is here VJ for a CR1 from Colombia ask why long time, maybe is dificult because have kids..

Now only faith, patiente and continue hope

Hey - does Nicaragua-bound casefiles get appointment dates at NVC?

If so, you'll have to wait for the 'next round of scheduling' at NVC - which will be

the 2nd week in September, for October interviews.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hey Darnell!

Yes that's what I have read, however some people have said to have gotten the date the last week of the month for the month after the following, not sure if you understand me -sorry- I was hoping to get it at the end of this week, if not, like you said most likely I have to wait for September. It was just a bummer to see people from high number of applicants countries getting their interviews right away.

Oh well... :(

Got CC early on August (08/11/10) and received interview date yesterday 08/28/10 for October.

I'm sorry, but I still don't understand how NVC schedules.
