Hi All,

Allright, we finaly sent the DS-230 etc back to embassy last week. From here, I am not sure what's the process for New Delhi consulate. Figure I'll ask here to people who have gone thru this and maybe point me in right direction

When we should expect to see a responce from the embassy?

After you send back packet 3, what are the next steps?

And how long before the interview is scheduled after packet 3?

Anyhelp is appreciated

I don't know the complete answer to your question, but I can tell you that I think you did not post your question in the right forum. The Indian sub-forum is very, very slow to respond and your question is more time sensitive. You should try posting again in the K-1 forum you will get much more responses.

Also I think that for the K1 visa you really have to follow up with the New Delhi embassy and Dept of State to figure out what is going on with your case. My friend did a K1 recently in New Delhi and they assigned his interview date but postmarked his interview letter with a date AFTER the actual interview itself. I remember he was really frustrated with the process and had to go to the Embassy to actually get some things and get on the phone with the DOS and figure out his case status.

Check out this thread here it will be a good starting point for you with numbers and a bit about what other people have done.
