ok guys...there have been a development. i received emails from NVC...and it's 2 emails for each of my petition. one states PAOSF I-130...in this attachment packet, it is the AOS fee bill and choice of agent form. the second attachment packet is called ACL Universal. it is pretty much the same packet as the PAOSF I-130 except without the bill. to i received both sets in separate emails for my wife and two kids.

now my question is....i got sent an AOS bill for each of the petition. i thought i was only supposed to pay the AOS fee once for all 3 petitions. was i mistaken in thinking this?

You only pay one AOS fee bill. In my case I paid the one for my wife. Just be shure NVC makes a "Cross Reference" to the other cases. My son´s case was hit by RFE for missing AOS fee payment, eventhough I asked NVC if I had to pay two AOS fee. Good Luck.

- AOS and IV packet sent via email (forms and documents scanned) August 3, 2010

- Received email from NVCElectronic to let me know my son´s case was closed August 26, 2010

- Interview October 8, 2010 APPROVED!!!

I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

I could be wrong since I am only applying for my wife and no dependent children. I think the bill is for each beneficiary individually separately. So you would have to pay the AOS 3 times one for each person. You can submit the packages together but need to pay for each applicant. You would also need to qualify as part of your AOS package 3X the required income level as you have 3 people you need to show ability to support. Others may have greater knowledge in this area I am just stating what seems logical to me. Hope it helps you to some degree.

Well I see Totosan has a different understanding and also has a dependent associated with his package. SO Go with his statement. Just be superclear when you submit the package . I would include a letter to explain it so you can avoid an RFE. You may also want to talk with NVC rep just to be positive of how best to go forward..Good luck.

thanks for the quick replies guys. but i was able to contact NVC again. i was advised by the rep that i will only need to pay for one AOS fee. she said i didn't need to pay for each since the other two petitions were for minor children...and the category of petition only required one payment. she said for me to pick one and the rest should follow suit to show as being paid when payment is processed.

(i really hate how you only have a certain amount of time to submit any edits)

also...i saw a post earlier regarding this...and i also suggest anyone doing it call NVC and be advised by actual person. the rep i was speaking with told me to just attach completed ds-3032 forms in an email and send it to nvcinquiry@state.gov email address. i asked her if i needed to put anything in the body of the email or in the subject line and if each case needs to be sent separately, she said not necessary. the rep said i can just sent one email and even if i don't put anything on the subject and/or body of the email, they'll still look at all the attachments in the email and they'll find out which case file to put it in. so again...i was told this by NVC and i will be doing it this way. but for others....please do contact NVC and get a personal confirmation of this process. i don't want to be the cause of delay for any VJer's petition.

Hi again, I think it depends how busy the embassy, and how they schedule... you know that the process will be a pain till the end, it's their job to NOT make it easy for anyone...LOL good luck and I hope it's very soooon!!!

Wow this Miss Monkey only got their paperwork in days before US Emily and they are SIF already... I would say expedited maybe we can draft in behind lol... Just a though. THink I will try to log in just incase ... :hehe:

- AOS bill and Agent forms received & Paid 8/03/10

- Email DS 3032 8/04/10

- AOS Package Delivered to NVC 8/9/10

- IV Bill Received & Paid; 8/11/10

- IV Pack Received at NVC 8/16/10

- IV Pkg Entered into AVR System 8/19/10

- NVC SIF 9/9/10

- Case Complete, 9/13/10 w/questions on lack of income

- NVC Forwards Case to Embassy, Manila

- Waiting Medical completed 10/27/10

- Interview Date 11/3/10 Wife didn't have NSO Marriage Certificate, No Approval OMG!!!

- NSO Certificate received by Embassy on 11/5/2010

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)
