Teya - with the way my luck is running, I don't think I will come close to beating you. Now its offcial my wife is not getting her interview call till jan or feb. Don't even have the case number yet and it seems as if I have been tagged at every stage to "delay this file..delay this file". Those r my wife's words and I seem to b agreeing with her now. Oh well I guess gotta deal with it.

Sorry your having to wait so long John ... I dont know if its you or the volume of interviews provided in India... What ever the reason its not fun having to wait so very very long. I never would have though this would be the case before starting this trip. To show you how things have changed ... THe US forced my Mom to come to the US back in 1954 because me & my sister were USC and my Dad was being sent to prison...

When we went through NVC last year we had the best luck getting through late at night. Good luck!

I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

AOS Paid and the package has been sent. It will be delivered on Friday. I gambled and made my own barcoded sheet and mailed it off yesterday banking on it will go paid by friday.

Udpate: No Case number yet. They are saying they received my case on the 22nd and my case was approved on sep 16. So dont know when i will get a case number. GOD THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING.

Salam guys

i just got checklist from NVC

its checklis for my co sponsor asking for that

my question is:

Is it important to mail it to them if i have another sponsor who's meet the income and take it to the interview to show it to consular ?

is it ok or NVC will delay our case and wont forwared it to embassy?

thanks in advance and will be waiting for yr advices

JD mine took two weeks to get my case number. i called everyday also. they received mine on september 7th and i didn't get it until two weeks later. everything is a waiting ordeal. i am waiting for them to input my IV documents in. they received my AOS and put them in immediately and said it was under review but the other was signed on monday and still says they are waiting for them. this is great news. looks like i wont see my wife until christmas or later.
