NVC filers for September 2010

You'll be fine provided you separated them in the package that you sent. Good journey... Heck the way we are waiting you might even get your interview at the same time mamamimi & I do...

Fells good to get it in the mail doesnt it... but then you have a whole new set of worries haha. I am sure you'll be fine provided you gave your documents a good once over.

i want my SIF also. i sent my package on friday. they should receive saturday but probably today. the avr says they r waiting for it. how did help get his sif so fast by getting it in on 09/17 his fees. by the time he sent it they already gave him a SIF..

the only thing i didn't have was a certified birth certificate but i gave them a copy of her last year visa plus a copy translated and certified by them. they have all our paperwork from last year.

That's ok I did the same thing I just separated them with their individual coversheets!! Now as soon as they enter on their system it should be about three weeks, I hope even less!!! that's if no RFE...Good luck!! :dance:

Does the birth certificate have a validity date? my husband's are only valid for three months I had to get all new docs for him for NVC...just curious

Expedited...take a look at the timeline...if you expedite and its approved it will go fast for you as well...right now AFTER the docs are in the system it will take about 3 weeks maybe less if they are working even at a faster pace good luck and hope no RFE for you!! :dance:

Hey you never know all countries have different rules, in Chile after 3 months is nulled...so stupid but that's how it is there...

Yeh I seperated everything put a cover sheet on each package and I think I had all the docs I needed. I was so tired of looking at the damb papers I finaly just shoved them in the fedex pack and said whatever. This **** can make you crazy.

I still think it would make a great sitcom or reality TV show... Look at all the different characters and situations there would be not to mention the government FUBAR's... How could it loose with this? We have human interest, comedy, tragedy and total confusion with unbelievable all mixed into one... let see who could play me??? or you...

I sent off the I-864 to the possible co-sponsor today. I hope it doesn't get lost in the mail and that the person calls me Thursday at the latest or I will call !

Yeah that makes sense because you have to check to make sure they got it right. And answer any questions they may have. Good Luck...

UPDATE: AOS&IV package info entered into the system on the 27th of Sep!!! The AVR says "give us 6-8 weeks" but I'm hoping it will be sooner and no RFE!!!

Haha! Tom, that's crazy! Haha! Don't put yourself down like that - I mean, Mr. Tracy is awesome but C'MON!! Can I suggest Jensen Ackles or maybe Hugh Jackman??

And no - I don't want to be the star of the show but I sure would love to look like Monica Bellucci!

The way I see it - better to be "dork-ing around" while waiting than completely stressing out and loosing important neurons!
