Nevermind. I called back and talked to a nice lady who explained more.

Guess before when they emailed me the checklist letter it was just for the corrections on the DS230 form even though in the same email it was asking for proof of relationship with sponsor.

There was only ONE checklist response barcode letter in the email. So i sent in both things they asked for under that barcode. That screwed up the case at NVC i guess. They wont separate the two and want me to mail in my birth certificate again but this time with MY 864 barcode coverletter.

Goodbye early november interview date.

Sorry to hear that...I hope it gets resolved soon!!

Jesal- Mossss def. You, me, Tom, and John Doe. We should've kept our lips shut :P Or maybe they just want us to keep talking and help everyone else out.

Update- So I just got off the phone and ummm line 22 is a go. Just have to send out the paperwork on Monday which should get there Wednesday and then go from there. I think it is still toooooo early to count any chickens. So...verbal time line :P Wednesday (Sep 29th)...get a call from them....go over the stuff...add a week for gathering their docs... so (Oct 6th)...plus she needs to send her GC info so add another 2 weeks (Oct 20th) then send back to me...another 2 weeks (Nov 3rd). Ok, so I might have things ready to go by November 3rd. So November 3rd plus 4 weeks for SIF means Jan interview date.

Thanks for reading every one :) Good luck to everyone and have a great weekend!

   GREAT NEWS!!!!

Teya can she scan and send it in an email? the docs... my sis sent everything to me like that except for the I-864 that she mailed to me signed. I even sent a copy of her employment letter cause she misplaced the original....

Also I filled out the affidavit of support and sent in an email (believe it or not that form can be saved with all info) all she had to do was print and sign

Have a GREAT weekend!!!

Hi everyone,

I spoke to a lovely guy at NVC on Friday (Thurs in the US) and he was able to give me our case # and updated our email addresses. He said that the first of the letters had already been sent out and I asked him whether we could have them re-sent to the email addresses and he said "sure!" and about 24 hours later I got two emails into my own address. Unfortunately, despite me spelling it out, the guy got my husbands email address wrong, it gave me a chuckle cos the wrong address is actually quite funny. Fortunately he had my address correct and CC'd me into my husbands email, and CC'd my husband into my email so no emails went missing.

We've now paid the first $88 and I've emailed in the choice of agent info using the template here on VJ (keeping my fingers crossed that it will be accepted)

The only scary uncertain thing is... I've kept my maiden name and added my husbands surname on the end, but in their correspondence they're referring to me only by my maiden name and not including the married surname! After some thought I elected to add the name to the choice of agent info so hopefully they'll fix the error when they see that, and won't reject it cos the name is different.... That is what I'm hoping!

Thanks! It's a relief. I believe my husband (the petitioner) did put my married name on there. Also, I see my married name on the NOA1 from USCIS (Hubby hasn't been home to scan and send a copy of NOA2 to me yet) I really think that they just don't like doublebarreled names. It confuses and freaks them. The NOA1 is missing my second name, the NVC correspondence is missing my 4th name!!

Oh wow! :D I bet they are over their heads wondering what to put on your name line! :P hah! Well, if you have your full name on at least one of the forms you can be sure that they have the full info! :) Of course, it also depends on the person putting the information into the system but I'm sure you'll be fine.. :)
