I would like to report with great pleasure and thankfulness to God that I got SIF!!!:dance: :dance:

Mind you I called at 9.00 am and was told the same thing we are hearing...

so I just checked the portal because I do every hour!! and at 10:45 this morning I got the screen that says SIF the case is no longer eligible for further process!!

When we went through NVC last year we had the best luck getting through late at night. Good luck!

I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

Thanks Loto and for all the advice and help you gave me!! As soon as I get a date I will book my ticket to be there with him for the interview and hey.. an additional honeymoon!! lol

-NOA 1 Receipt date: 3/1/10 (sent 2/18/10)

-Touched 4 different times in between

-APPROVED: 6/2/10

93 days from NOA1 to NOA2

-Received NVC case number: 6/9/10/10

-Gave NVC my e-mail address & e-mailed DS3032: 6/10/10

-Received NVC e-mails (DS3032 and AOS Fee)& paid AOS fee: 6/11/10

-AOS Fee shows as PAID & paid IV Bill: 6/15/10

-IV Bill shows as paid: 6/6/10

-Received IV instruction packet: 6/8/10

-Received dox from co-sponsor: 10/14/15/10

-Sent AOS package: 10/18/10

-AOS package received: 10/19/10-J.Desmond

-IV Package mailed out: 11/3/10

-AVR says I have an RFE: 11/5/10

-NVC operator told me what my RFE's are: 11/8/10

-NVC sent checklist letter (for the 2 AOS RFE's): 11/13/10

-NVC operator says the IV package has been entered: 11/18/10

-E-mailed SUE to see if that would do anything (3 diff times...): 11/29/30/10

-Sent AOS RFE's: 12/1/10

-AOS RFE's received: 12/2/10

-Checked payment portal for fun (SIF!!!!): 12/3/10

-AVR still say AOS missing info: 12/3/10

-NVC operator says case was shipped to USE in Lima: 12/3/10

-Received interview date (12/13/10): JANUARY 6th, 2011!!

-Medical: 12/21/10- Passed :)

-Interivew: 1/6/11- PASSED :D

-Visa received- 1/13/11

-POE FLL- 1/23/11 YES! BUTTTTTTT....still not reunited :'( (Reunited on the 24th)

Just spoke to NVC operator and she confirmed Case Closed as of today!! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Wait for it, though..

The casefile will be going through the 'final review' phase, next,

and

when that's finished, tossed into the 'eligible for interview' queue

(unless I missed it and yer in an expedite mode)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

10/11/2010: IIN received

10/11/2010: AOS review fee ($88) online payment - IN PROCESS

10/14/2010: AOS status 'PAID'

10/16/2010: DS-230 IV fee ($404) online payment - IN PROCESS

10/19/2010: DS-230 IV status 'PAID'

10/20/2010: AOS & DS-230 IV package sent

10/22/2010: AOS & DS-230 IV package delivered. Signed by: J Desmond.

11/10/2010: SIF!!!

11/14/2010: received checklist for missing passport office PCC.

11/10/2010: NVC Completion

12/09/2010: NVC Forwards Case to Consulate

CONSULATE

11/22/2010: Passport Office PCC to be in hand

12/22/2010: Medical Completed

12/28/2011: VFS Office Visit - Submit all required documents

01/10/2011: Interview Date - APPROVED

Look at all these good wishes !!! Your so popular Emily!!! Hope you didnt disturb anyone at work when you first realized you were SIF.. I had to do a double check to be sure when I saw mine... Maybe and OCT interview is in your future !!! Well enjoy this day and these feelings... :thumbs::thumbs::dance::dance:

OMG after I thought I had SIF (remember you did the same):bonk::blush: I checked it 3X just to make sure I entered all numbers and letters correctly then I just cried (a woman's reaction LOL) Everyone at work knew I was expecting this so we all had a nice break just talking about it!! First I told my hubby and then everyone else:dance: So now waiting again just like you for interview!! this is the WAITING PROCESS!! But trust me happy to get this far and just about over!!

By the way you are way more popular than me!!!:rofl:
