Got RFE Checklist missing ppc after signed in failed and case completed stated by avr and operator at nvc...dont knw wht to do? need some help plzz

I am not sure how your case closes without a PCC. You may have to submit that to the Embassy.

Is it possible to provide PCC to the embassy if case is closed at NVC? Anyone had this happened to them?

I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

Is it possible to provide PCC to the embassy if case is closed at NVC? Anyone had this happened to them?

Im puzzled by the NVC complete also. But if you're positively complete (call again and verify)then you need to get this document and bring it to interview when scheduled. If you submitted it and they lost it bring a copy of what you submitted to them. I am still surprised that it was not submitted with the NVC package DS 230 because of all the discussion regarding the PCC. Seem the longer I stay here the less I understand.

I know I am having my wife bring more documentation regarding financial to her interview. But I submitted it with my AOS also just giving them more of it. Let us know what they tell you after speaking with the NVC on your issue. Speak to a Supervisor as this is not typical. Good Luck...

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)

Can you post the contents of that checklist letter?

I'm guessing it's one of two things -

1] false checklist letter - call into NVC, confirm with a supervisor exactly what is what.

or

2] usually, if ONE PCC was submitted, and you need TWO, the 'checklist letter' will state that you are OK at NVC, but must show the 2nd PPC to VFS and the interview officer at the Consulate.

India is a hard place to get PCC's, even harder to get that elusive 2nd Police Clearance Certificate. I don't know all the ins and outs of it - but

USUALLY - if you can't get the 2nd PCC because that 'issuing office' is waiting on something official from the US GOVERNMENT - hey ! guess what ??!?!?!? That checklist letter is SOMETHING OFFICIAL from the US GOVERNMENT - specifically asking for the PCC.

You can print that out in India, take it in to that office, and get the 2nd PCC. Suggest you get 2 done whilst there, pay extra for them.

Mind you I called at 9.00 am and was told the same thing we are hearing...

so I just checked the portal because I do every hour!! and at 10:45 this morning I got the screen that says SIF the case is no longer eligible for further process!!

so I just checked the portal because I do every hour!! and at 10:45 this morning I got the screen that says SIF the case is no longer eligible for further process!!
