I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

I am so frustrated!!!:angry: and mad!!! Just got of the phone with OLIVIA, she tells me that my documents are not in review that they were entered in the system on the 24th blah blah blah!!! OK so I called yesterday and the other person I spoke with told me my documents were in review!! So which is it???!!!

Can it be that my document have not even been looked at? I guess I will have to make another call and hope someone can give me a straight answer... She just kept repeating that they have 6-8 weeks to look at my documents... ok now I'm sad and confused:wacko: :wacko:

Thanks Loto. I just got off the phone and the first person I spoke didn't understand why they stated I did not meet the poverty guidelines after seeing my assets. He said it was a mistake and to ignore it. Then I ask to speak to his supervisor who was just giving me the We have to do that speech. I told her they have to when its accurate but I disagree with the statement and she still didn't see my point. She then said well we dont decide anyway so I said fine then dont say anything. But again she didn't get it. Then I told her the US GOVERNMENT could benefit if they were as financially responsible as most of its citizens were. Hope she doesn't put any negative comments in my file... :bonk:

Bottom Line I have Case Complete and My paperwork will soon be going to the Embassy in Manila. I saw where your 2006 Memorandum stated 12 months for bank statements. I was looking at this update which didn't state the 12 months requirement at all. http://travel.state.gov/visa/laws/telegrams/telegrams_2863.html

I will make sure my wife has the 12 months available for her interview. What a FUBAR> Good news is I should be getting appointment letter soon.... or within 6-8 weeks :rofl:

Mamamimi, no worries. Ours is approved 21 days after everything was received by NVC, per AVR. You may receive your SIF/CC in a day or two.

Emily, Your life is already a miracle of sort's having again found your true love. Keep the faith in yourself and your Hubby... All the rest of this will matter little in years to come. Don't let it play mind games. These disorganization seem to only be going through the motions without a lot of great leadership. You will get your day to celebrate in spite of them haha. Until then keep your sanity by ignoring there actions as much as possible. Or laugh at its unbelievable-ness (is that a word?). :thumbs: ITs amazing just reading all the emotions each of use share as we wind our way through this maze of confusion and misdirection. This would make a good reality TV show... :rofl:

I got the same answer 18 hours before they SIF'ed me. So, you shouldn't pay any attention to them robots at the NVC.
