It seems as if USCIS is not approving quite as many petitions as NVC is completing, maybe future approvals will fly through NVC. That would be great news to everyone here.

Ell finally we are entered into the system. WHat is my next step. Can we send in the ds3032 without giving them the email addresses? i sent a letter not to long ago and they replied and knew the uscis # because i gave it to them. After that what is the next step? do i send in the ds230 first or the i864 first or do we send them both in at the same time? does anyone know?

Congrats on getting ur case number!

You will get the AOS bill first(88$). Once it shows PAID on the electronic payment portal, you can send the package to the NVC (see the link I sent you in the PM for a check list of the contents). Then, after your DS-3032 is accepted(I believe you can e-mail that Mon after you give the NVC ur e-mails) you will get the IV fee bill (currently 404$) and once that shows as PAID too - sent the IV package and wait for SIF&CC from then!

ps: you want to give the NVC ur e-mails ASAP so they can communicate with you tru it - it's waaaaay faster than the regular mail and it will speed things up for you guyz!

Okay...lol Look at it this way, you can not control what the NVC or USCIS writes. Many of us early on were concerned because them leaving out the middle names of the beneficiary. I was concerned because of the way Filipinos use middle names and it changes once you're married the middle name becomes your maiden name. Not something we do here in the US. You have his Birth certificate, Maybe a drivers license and other documents that show his name. He doesn't look that old so it cant be that many names he has used. If there are different names then you might have to explain them and list them as Aliases and also get NBIs with those names. Does he have a passport? That the name they will use for the VISA. I would not worry about the Jr. Thats a simple clerical error. If your not comfortable then speak to someone at the NVC or even the Embassy. They have the final approval. I would also start preparing a letter explaining the confusion so by the time you need the letter you already have worked out the words to us. I wrote mine several times. If your husband has used different variations of his name them put them down as Alias just like you say you did. If they are all very similar like the one above then I think the NBI with his legal name is enough. I also had my wife go to her local Police Station and get a certificate there in addition to the NBI certificate. Just remember simple is best and when simple is confusing you need to explain it well enough for anyone who knows nothing about it can understand it. Good Luck I think you will be fine.

Did your wife get the Police clearance or Police certificate? My husband says they're different. I think he said Police certificate shows if you have a police record of any kind, and the Police clearance is for proof of residency.

I sent my last IV pack dox Aug 31st and hubby still doesn't have them.. And for my "joy and pleasure" he is going for a week in AZ... Arrrgh - couldn't have picked a worse time to go... *headbang*

Not sure what your husband is speaking of. You know PI different places may do things differently. My wife got the NBI and another one from her local police. It was called Police Clearance Certificate. I had a badge on it with Philippine National Police. It looked real official. It had For Travel Abroad on it valid for 6 months and all that stuff. It came from the Los Banos Police Station on blue paper with official looking stamps and everything. I told her she also needed the NBI cause that's what was identified by the US Visa site. The NBI took her a little more time to get. It had all the same info but was on Yellow paper and was a National doc and not a local one. Both of these document were on 5 X 7 paper with photos stamps and signatures. They were not very expensive and had no record so it was really a no brain-er. Again I was trying to remove all doubt. You'll do fine just dont relax or get lazy cause you're so close to the end... Nice that your going to go back for his interview. I though about it but flights seem to be more expensive these days. I decided to give her, her time with family and friends. She would also feel less pressure with me not being there. Good Luck

USUALLY, ya won't receive anything from NVC via EMAIL

unless the USC Spouse

makes that phone call into NVC.

Then, once the 'email trail is started'

that AOS fee bill will arrive in yer email, containing the IIN .

With the Embassy Case #, and the IIN, you can log into the online payment portal.

The one exception that I've been seeing, occurs because you included the G-1145 form on initial I-130 submittal, the email address that you listed there, is carried over from USCIS into NVC, and NVC 'tags it' when doing the initial casefile intake processing.

Well this kind of sucks. I called the AVR and it stated some information was missing from my package and a letter was sent to me. So I will call them on Monday and see whats up. I got the SIF but then an RFE is looks like. Just have to wait and hopefully its something simple. I hope they didn't lose any thing. That would not be good. One step forward and two back... Don't think OCT interview will be happening now.

They won't SIF you with a pending RFE.
