I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

her case is expedited, maybe that is why... they usually send out an email to you and your spouse!! but hey you never know all embassies work different!!

Guys, I have a question about the AOS. I'm sending them transcripts for the last 3 yrs. #19, do I check both boxes or just the one that says "(optional) I have attached photocopies or transcripts of my Federal tax returns for my second and third most recent tax years"?

OOOhhhh, just an update... Got the e-mail for LIVAOS fee bill.. :dance:`:dance:`:dance:Paid them both when I got home from work (11:30pm E.T., I was rushing to get out so I could talk to my husband and tell him the good news! :lol: ). I did a prelim run down of the documents my hubby's gonna send me (to make sure everything's in order), and we did a step-by-step review of the DS-230.

AOS should be all set (I hope), I got the Employment Verification from HR yesterday, but I think I'll ask her to do a new one 'coz she didn't put my full name in the letter. Pay stubs I will print at work. I have transcripts for 2007 and 2008, I'll make copy of 1040 for 2009, and all my W2s and 1099.

Hope I didn't miss anything in my AOS. Do I have to sign and put my case # to all the documents I'm sending, except I-864?

P.S. I haven't told my lawyer we're firing them. Any advice on how I could do that? :P

I think it's bedtime for me too. Still got to go to work tom.. zzzzzz.. hope my angel will let me sleep a little bit longer later.. :lol:

You need to write NVC Case# on top of all the AOS documents including I-864. You can leave it on the bar code sheet of AOS, because it is already highlighted there.

You can talk to NVC live operator to inform about the attorney removal. Sometimes, they will ask G-28 form completion as well.

Since you have included 07,08 and 09 tax details, you MUST check 'optional' checkbox as well.

Loto, LOL, yeah, I'll be using EZ, sorry I didn't include that with my question. So, check both boxes?

I spoke to the operator about having my lawyer removed, she just told me to e-mail them a written request. I'll try calling again later and speak to a different operator, maybe the next one will tell me otherwise.
