Do both (AOS and IV) have the same address? I hope yes. Then one mailing would save some money But make sure to separate each packet inside the envelope clearly. Otherwise, NVC will mess it up and would even say - missing original document.

Oh, I will! Thank you! I just think its kinda weird that the IV cleared before the AOS since hubby paid the AOS first... not that anything makes sence in this whole "thingy"

And of course - we are still waiting for mail to arrive and for the letter from Ian's commander... Hope we have all things ready if not by the end of this week - by the following!

I wish a small flood or a minor earthquake somewhere near our area to expedite USCIS process And nobody in that area should be affected in this natural calamity. But it must be printed in the local newspaper to submit to the USCIS to expedite our I-130

There must be one more option in this expedite business - "All Others". Under this category, USCIS will quiz the petitioner about the immigration process. If petitioner scores a min. threshold, they are qualified for expedite. How's the idea?

Long Island is far from my work location Do you work in LI or in NY city? You may be settled down in LI, right? I cannot move away from CT as well since I need to visit my son.

I sent them both in one envelope by FEDEX I separated the two packets each with a cover letter labeling what they were... It's a good thing if they start processing at the same time... Milena the AOS also took me like two days to clear so maybe by tomorrow:dance:

Typically it was 2 weeks to complete the NVC process after them getting all IV and AOS package. I think now-a-days it is 2 to 4 weeks taking. Best way to monitor is check the AVR daily. Call human every week.
