When we went through NVC last year we had the best luck getting through late at night. Good luck!

I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

Ok people! We are back on track with the NVC and paid the AOS*IV fees today!

Now I hope that the mail arrives faster so hubby can get the last pieces of the DS-230 package!

OK an update.

husband called embassy today in the range of time that he had been told from 2-3pm...according with him was pain cause the first time someone answer him and told him he has to wait for the papers to come, then he explain that the papers are already there (we know that!!!), and that we are expediting the process, the person at the phone said hold.. and the call close!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he called again and he had to wait a lot!!!! cause he was waiting with 30 people more, after wait and wait and wait he speaks again with another person and they told him that the process is this:

1. they got the mail (the package), 2.it goes thrue mail office, 3.they scanned, and they have to 4.review it AGAIN to see about the expedite.. sooooooooooooo... couple days more, less? more????? grr! so close and still waiting!!!!!!!!! :wacko:

During the weekend went to see couple of townhouses (small one) in this area, going to buy one before my wife and daughter arrive here. May be by the end of this year or beginning of next, but before they arrive.
