I would guess lots of calls to NVC are silly and should not be made but people being what they are just clog down the system. Then those who have reasonable and legitimate issues have to wait because

we called on friday the nvc and the lady said we will send you an email next mondey

is this means our AOS package is reviewd cuz we sent it in 23 aug and the ds 230 in 24 sep

and when i tried the avr yesterday it says there is missing info and we sent you checklist in 24 sep even we didnt get any

so any advices guys and how much its gona to take will be appreciate

I'm not sure what it means but my best guess is that they reviewed your AOS and now they are waiting for your IV package. Why don't you call NVC? They will tell you what's missing. Best of luck to you. :-)

its checklis for my co sponsor asking for that

Is it important to mail it to them if i have another sponsor and meet income and will take it with in the interview to show it to consular is it ok or will delay our case and wont forwared it?

sorry am asking you guys i know i should call but we here in egypt and the international calls cost ALOT

When you called, they should have asked for the email addresses of you and your spouse and given you the NVC number if it was assigned. Since they didn't give you the NVC number, I would call back until they have it since you will need it later on. Until you have an NVC number, they will use your USCIS number. The next thing you should get is the Invoice ID number in an email. After you have the Invoice ID number you can then pay your two bills online and submit the paperwork for the next step. You should be getting those papers together now to help speed things up later. Don't worry about their time estimates since they always use 6-8 weeks for an answer, but don't worry about that because it seems to be moving faster than that right now. Once you have paid the fees and submitted the paperwork, then you wait for the case complete. This currently seems to be running around three weeks. Then you move into the interview queue which is probably even more stressful since the wait times are quite variable. Does this help you? If not, let me know and I can try to make it more clear. I know that I wish I had a clear understanding about how this whole process worked before I got started.

Teya - with the way my luck is running, I don't think I will come close to beating you. Now its offcial my wife is not getting her interview call till jan or feb. Don't even have the case number yet and it seems as if I have been tagged at every stage to "delay this file..delay this file". Those r my wife's words and I seem to b agreeing with her now. Oh well I guess gotta deal with it.

- IV Pack Received at NVC 8/16/10

- IV Pkg Entered into AVR System 8/19/10

- NVC SIF 9/9/10

- Case Complete, 9/13/10 w/questions on lack of income

- NVC Forwards Case to Embassy, Manila

- Waiting Medical completed 10/27/10

- Interview Date 11/3/10 Wife didn't have NSO Marriage Certificate, No Approval OMG!!!

- NSO Certificate received by Embassy on 11/5/2010

- Informed by call center. Cost $18 Information received- we need to wait 6-8 weeks from Nov 5th FUBAR.

- VISA APPROVED 12/15/2010

- Wife arrived in US Feb 2, 2011... :)
