Hi

I have just joined this forum and it's by far the best I've seen yet.

My brother is the US citizen/petitioner. I am the beneficiary.

My brother sent the AOS and i-864 (income tax returns) to the NVC in July. Shortly after I recieved an email 'checklist' instructing me to send my IV application and civil documents (originals and certified copies). I sent those two weeks ago and have confirmation of delivery by Fed-ex tracking. Both fees for the AOS and IV were paid in june after recieving payment intructions form the NVC.

My question is: When should I hear from NVC next? How long can I expect to wait before an interview date is scheduled? (My consulate post is London UK)

Many thanks

Hi

From what I can see, it only takes a year or less to get the daughter of a citizen into the US - it's taken 10 years to enter the final stage of my processing.

Just one query I have about your timeline: i-130 Process for daughter

01/26/2010 - Mailed off 1-130 to Chicago lock box

02/02/2010 - Check mailed by Homeland Security

02/02/2010 - NOA1

03/22/2010 - NOA2

04/08/2010 - AOS PAID

05/04/2010 - IV PAID

06/30/2010 - Sent in all supporting documents

07/09/2010 - Supporting documents entered onto the system <<<<<How did you find that out? Did you call them or did you find out some otherway?

08/23/2010 - Log in to NVC still active

Thanks ~

When you call the NVC the automated voice system tells you the last update on the case ... in our case this was the documents we sent being entered onto the system.

Yeah, ten years sucks ... good luck!!!
