half.com...never been there. Lets hope I am 1/2 way through this process.

3/11/06 - 3/26/06 Visited my baby in the PI's

3/29/06 - K1 packet recieved at NSC

6/01/06 - Redirected to CSC

6/14/06 - CSC e-mailed confirmation on the reciept of file

6/23/06 - They they sent the IMBRA RFE

7/03/06 - The emailed that the IMBRA RFE went out on 6/23/06

7/03/06 - I received IMBRA RFE

7/05/06 - Touched

7/06/06 - Delivery Confirmation from the Post Office RFE recieved

7/11/06 - Email notification from CSC that IMBRA RFE Recieved

7/12/06 - Touched (but was to respond to an email that only said 'request recieved and will be processed within 30 days. argh)

7/13/06 - Touched

NOA2 September 11!!!

10/18/06 - Received at Embassy

12/23/06 - Recieved package with interview/medical schedule

01/08/06 - CFO interview/(pre-departure class) Complete

1/11/07 & 1/12/07 Medical complete

02/05/07 - Interview!!!

2/7/07 (2/8/07 manila) - Informed we are approved...3 days after interview.

2/12/07 Visa Received

2/16/07 Baby arrives in US!!!!!

4/14/07 Wedding

4/21/07 Filed AOS

lol.. it's like the ebay for college textbooks..

Maybe its where the UCSIC got thier procedures. half price for 1/2 way completed handbooks. Now they are all saying 'what do I do about this, its not in the handbook'....other person responds 'put it in that pile over there, like I do. We are far enough behind noone will notice'.

05/2005 - Met on line

06/20/05 - first serious e-mails

01/15/06 - traveled to China to meet Yonghua and family

02/24/06 - I-129 F sent (K1 visa) Laguna

03/01/06 - I-129 F delivered at USCIS

03/06/06 - I-129F received date (check processed)

03/07/06 - NOA1 issued

03/10/06 - NOA1 received

06/23/06 - Notice date on RFE

06/28/06 - RFE for IMBRA received and mailed back to CSC

06/30/06 - RFE received at CSC

09/08/06 - NOA2 notice date

09/12/06 - received NOA2 in mail

10/02/06 - received and case number issued at NVC

10/19/06 - Case sent to Consulate in Guangzhou

- update -

05/22/07 - Visa approved

06/15/07 - SO arrives at LAX

07/07/07 - Married

07/24/07 - AOS filed

It is difficult.

The separation is putting a lot of stress on my relationship too. By the time we are approved, it may no longer even matter.

I don't advise this to most couples, but there was a time after IMBRA that my fiance & I decided to stop talking on the phone for awhile. The exchange of "sighs" waiting for CSC to act on our case was stressing our relationship. We just decided to kept our own lives busy (working, working, working works!) & just exchange text messages everyday, not talking about the case. Now, we're just waiting for the packet & interview sked to come, at least we know we're getting there. And we're very positive we'll spend Christmas 2006 together. :thumbs:

I'm just curious, what is the receipt date on your I-797C ?

It may work with some couples. I just keep thinking 'get the initial' and everythings ok...cause then we can start talking about our time together since I will go visit. I could see how that would be stressful. Each deals with things differently.

Congrats!!! I hope you do have xmas together, what a great present.

The Icey RFE is much more mysterious. Does it apply to me or doesn't it? According to the law it doesnt, according to CSC it does... BLEH!
