Poor waitingincolo - they sent his petition to a black hole (read USCIS error/gross negligence/incompetence) and it took months to get back, but now they won't expedite.

WOW, I feel for you. I really do. Lets just wish they could finally get those of us that are old timers outta there.

As for me, looks like another very unproductive day at work. I really hope that they dont realize what little I have done the past couple months. If I got paid to be on this site, I exceed expectations. If I get paid for anything else. hmm, unemployment line. haha

I received a RFE on Saturday, This time it was my fault I sent in the wrong divorce papers.

I sent in my petition for divorce instead of my final decree. I over nighted them yesterday

hopefully everything is ok now. I wish I would have known about this site when I was filling out

my I-129f applications it would have been very helpful. Remember to check and double check your

packet befor mailing it in. I must have gone through mine 50 times and still sent in the wrong papers.

Clearly, I have to stop going to the gym and come on the boards at night to join the drinking party. Am I the only one who drinks scotch around here?

DUDE, hat's off to you. Talk about perseverance with a capital "P". I feel like kind of a wuss now at only 167. I got the same RFE the first time around back in March with the certified final divorce decree. At that time, it only slowed things up 10 days or so. Good Luck!

BTW, I see you've adopted a kinder, gentler approach with CSC today. That's it. man! Maybe today we should have a CSC love fest -then tomorrow we can back to bashing the h**l out of 'em!

No scotch for me, thanks. Yuckpatoooie!!! My sister loves the stuff. Every time she comes to visit me in Portland, we have to go the neighborhood liquor store so she can stock up on a brand with the dubious name of "Sheep Dip". Apparently some enterprising folks came up with this name as a way to sneak bootleg scotch past the officials during prohibition saying it was for agricultural use. I tried it once and it came out of my mouth quicker than it went in. The sheep can have my share.

Way too soon to be discouraged Iceyspots! But I do feel very sorry for the stragglers, and can hardly help at this stage wondering if our file won't one day wind up on the desk of the processor in California who appears to be sending a blow up doll to sit at his desk all day while he is off doing god knows what.

No one in the office notices because the blow up doll is now completely hidden by the pile of unprocessed K-1's which have now built up there!

I picture this clown's supervisor walking by daily, amazed at how much work this true gem of the office is willing to take upon himself. And the supervisor nominating him as 'Employee of the Month' for 6 months running!

One day my popcorn will be valuum and my cola everclear as I watch helplessly on the sidelines people in Vermont getting 2 week approvals while my application sits gathering dust at the desk of CSC's Employee of the Year!...

Yeah, and Mr. Blow-up Bubba probably gets the primo parking spot and who knows what else. I work for a local govt. agency, and its amazing that some people can get by for years just making it look like they are doing something. Sad but true. Now I'll probably get nailed when somebody in IS rats on me for spending too much time on the internet. I'm going to try explaining all my time on VJ as research into the changing demographics in the region due to legal immigration. So far, my research indicates the impacts of LEGAL immigaration are pretty darn low, if even detectable.

We are up to at least 140 something...I really try not to count anymore. It will be exactly 1 month tomorrow since we were touched and since they got our RFE..which means 1 more month before we can call them and find out why they cant seem to pull their head out of their #######! But after seeing how long others have waited...I really have no place to talk...I really hope this part of the nightmare is over soon...
