Hey all...

I just found out i got RFE for quesdtion # 30 on DS-230, part 1. Missing/incomplete information.

well.. question number 30 on ds-230 part one is...list all addresses where u lived for 6 months.

NVC had beneficiary's old address when they received her case from uscis and i sent in change of address, back in july 1st week.

now she has a new address which i listed on top... from january 2010 to present.

and her old address from 12-2008 to jan 2010.

NVC says they never got the change of address form from me, and thats why her old address is still a new address. WTH. my case could have been completed by now, i am so upset about this RFE, GOD knows how many more weeks NVC will take more to correct this problem. damnit.

i have a question.. to which address RFE's are sent to.? and to which address change of address request is sent to???

Thank you.

USUALLY it's the petitioner's address, for sending an RFE.

IF the address is such a huge concern for NVC, strongly suggest you call NVC again, talk with a human, remind them to review the address change database from London, Kentucky.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Hi Thanx for input.

well i just spoke to someone at NVC and in question 30... applicant had to list addresses since she/he turn 16 years of age. and because of a damn typo ( it should be 1983) but by mistake she wrote 1993. so in 1993 she was 18 years old. ughhhhh.

Okay.. now can I send the updated form with the cover letter/barcode sheet which i got when i paid the IV bill.

its the same barcode sheet which i included with my ds-230 packet. can it be done this way>???? OR is there some kind of specific barcode sheet i will receive from NVC to send with updated form???

thanks a bunch for help.

Sorry to hear you hit a bump in the road. :(

Have you received the hard copy of the RFE? If so, as RICARDO4EVA2, posted above it will contain instructions as to the specific information they require and where to send it.

Oh i am not aware, if i am going to get e mail from NVC OR snail mail from NVC about this RFE? Are u saying, that NVC will mail me hard copy by us mail, instead of E mail?

Thanks.

To the best of my knowledge they will send you a hard copy via snail mail so all you can do now is wait.

If that is not the case, hopefully, someone will come along to correct me.

NICA... looking at ur RFE timeline... u were issued RFE quickly and then it took long time for SIF/CC. in my case it took 5 weeks to issue a RFE and i guess another 5 weeks before they look at it after receiving it. dang. i really hope its quicker than i think.

Well it seems they MIGHT be starting to speed things up, so it might be 2 weeks for your CC, let's pray for that!

Good luck!
