No application status

I applied I-130 for my mom on July 5th and received a receipt number on the 19th of July. I tried checking the status of my application a week after that, but it says that cannot be found. I called up two weeks ago and they said they received my application and that it really takes a while for their system to be updated. Until now, I still can't check it. Should I be concerned?

Greetings!

Im going to assume that you are a US Citizen by now, right? It took 6 months for my moms application to be complete. ( thats including the initial submission all the way to her interview). IT dont hurt if you inquire as long as all documents are complete then i guess you just have to wait, I do wish that you gather all necessary documents to be ready.

Goodluck!
