what benefit is there in having RFID? so govt can keep all your info in one place, your entire family tree, even your blood type on a handy dandy datebase (as well as on the chip in the NIC)... why would you want that, for what purpose? other than to have a big brother society.

excuse me if i'm not willing to have all my info in a govt database becasue you're too lazy to keep track of your own info.

and just because people misuse their SS# isnt a reason to give away rights of privacy. SS# is for income purposes ONLY.

driver's licenses vary from state to state, they are in no way a "National Identity Card" as you are craving, though they can be used as proof of ID.

yes... as well as MISINFORMATION getting in there just through incorrect data error. do you have any idea how hard it is to convince a govt agency they have something wrong in their database and it needs chnaged?!

my husband could die if they use the info on his NICOP and give him the blood type on file becasue they have it wrong! i worry everytime he is out!

And yes, Ben Stein is right. It's incorrect that we have to prove we're covered for health insurance and not prove that we're legally here. I'd say do neither.
