  • 1 month later...

sup guys, sorry for disappearing, but i've so busy for the last couple wks, i have some free time today so i thought i will write up a sumary of the interview.

my finacee arrived at the embassy around 7:30, as she handed the female guard the appointment letter, this female guard yelled at her, "why didn't you unfold the letter". As you all know, giving these people a little authority, they become the biggest #######. Anyway, she proceeded to the window and handed in the documents and were told to take a seat. As she waited, she saw lots of blue slips, about 17 out of 20 got the blue. Her name was called and she was interviewed by a female CO. And these was asked...

How long have you two met?

How long have you known each other?

how many times did your fiance visited you?

who pays for his trips?

Is your fiance here now?

how did your fiance got laidoff?

That was all i can remember, but the interview went very smooth. She got the pink slip and was tlod to come back tomorrow to pick up her visa.

Here is an important tip that i like to pass on to the newbies. I am self-employed and my income barely make the requirement. What i did was wrote a half a page letter for my fiancee to bring to the interview. In the letter i explained why my fiancee won't be a public charge by laying down all the plans we will take to avoid public charge. Why do i think an my letter importantin my case? because out of a 3-inch thick stack, this letter was one of a few pieces of documents that the CO actually kept, the rest was returned to my fiancee.

yea, my fiancee arrived here on sept 18,
