We had an all-hands meeting last week. "Brace for a 30% increase" was the word.

So much for "healthcare" reform. The only thing being reformed here is the bottom line of the insurance companies that this farcical legislation made mandatory beneficiaries. Where are the promised price controls? Sadly absent.

give me a few more years ...

Seems as though we were told it would force us all on the public plan, But not before our wallets get raped.

the good news is ... they will cover the twins until they are 26 ... which is after i retire ...

i wish my wife had listened to me when the twins were born ... all she had to do was show up at the hospital blabbing portuguese and the entire birth would have been free ...

the husband's "year" was up a few months ago.. the cost stayed the same but it went down from 90% coverage to 80% but this is mainly for hospital stays, ER visits, surgery, blood-work etc.. Doctor's visits are sill covered 100% after the copay... oh and we have a PPO...

My company had an all-hands meeting last week to discuss year end topics. It was announced that our cost for insurance premiums will not change; however, no bonuses this year and only minimal raises. I am not sure how I feel about this. I am still thinking about it. No bonus yet my monthly out of pocket will not change. Also....no Christmas party this year.

Please look at the "About Me" page in our profile for our complete K-1 and AOS processing timeline.

My wife's costs stay the same this year too- with a 10% raise in her salary. Administration is absorbing the increase in her premiums, so her raise is even more than 10%.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
