Hi everyone,

I have been waiting for my I-485 to be approved for 6 months now... It's frustrating but at least I have my EAD. My case was transferred to CSC in March 2010. Anyways, I was wondering if my case is still in CSC or has it been transferred to local USCIS office? I received an email from USCIS stating as below:

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

Does that mean it is still in CSC or has it gone to local? Has anyone received a similar email before?

Thank you.

Sincerely,

LC

I would say it's still at CSC. It was transferred to CSC and the email was to let you know it was received there (the USCIS office CSC) and is now being processed there. That's the common email to let you know it arrived.

Thank you for the clarification. I just wanted to make sure... though I find it funny that they only let me know they have received it after 6 months!!! gosh... but at least they didn't lose it :)
