VSC NOA1 - July 6 - Are you waiting for NOA2?

You are past the 5 months listed on VSC's processing times. I'd definitely call if I were you.

I guess I will share the information since it might make everyone else who's waiting feel better (or possibly worse). I called last week, 5 months to the day after the acceptance, and they didn't have very much information. I was told they sent the application to California as they were too busy in Vermont at the time. They were kind enough (they acted like they were doing me a favor) to admit it was out of normal processing time and would put in a note to the case officer requesting a status report. Nothing since - not even a touch. So the wait continues and my frustration grows.

Dear all,

I truly know what the majority is feeling!! We're running out of patience, out of hope... I started this topic for people that just like me that have filed the K1 petition in late June 2010 and early July 2010.

So please any members that have a NOA1 date between June 28 2010 and July 10 2010, please join and let us share our experiences! We can construct a timeline ,in an expectation when we can be reunited with our loved ones!

Please provide any form of information on your timeline, NOA1, NOA2 etc...

I am currently waiting for NOA2!!! WOW!! It seems like forever!!

Thank you!

I am patiently waiting for NOA2 also... We had the NOA1 last July 12. Hope to have it SO soon.

My application was received at the VSC on March 18th and still no NOA2, so, if I were you, I wouldn't worry too much yet.

Have you called the VSC ? You are over the 5 months so they might be able to do something.

To busy in Vermont at this time ? What about the people that applied in June ? They already got their NOA2's. I find it extremly unfair for people like Kaiser, ryna and myself that have been waiting much longer. And this is my second time around, so I been waiting way over 12 months for my fiance to return.

For those of you that just applied and crying where the NOA2's are. This is a VERY strssful process so I hope you have lots of patience.

well I shall update how our Visa Journey has been later today, but I will tell you to hold tight it will happen,

I am in California and my fiancee is in England, we have been engaged now for near 2 years, My fiancee left for England after a 3 month stay on Nov. 19th 2009, we sent in the I-129 on Jan 29th and received NOA-1 first week of March, yesterday Aug. 24th my fiancee had her interview at the embassy in London! the interview took all of 5 minutes once her number was called, she was a bit disappointed that it went so quick as the build up to the interview was intense, but we passed!!! We did all the paperwork ourselves, and had only one hiccup, but it was easily fixed.

If anyone has any questions I will be glad to answer

I have only seen my fiancee a total of 10 days this year( since Nov. ) so I know what you are going thru!

you will get thru it

I just want to give you guys a heads up from my experience. The estimated time frame when I filed my visa was 5 months too. Granted, we're almost finished, and about a month of our time line was lost due to a misunderstanding on how to handle some paperwork (no rfe's or anything), but we're pushing 8 months!

Just remember 5 months is an estimate and not a guarantee when it comes to being "finished".

This is an excruciating process for us all, but be patient like all have been saying especially for those who have yet to reach the at least the 3month mark. My fiancee and I got our NOA1 June 4th. According to Igor's list the majority of people in our month, including those who got their NOA1 later than us, already gotten the NOA2 (in July even and it was already the end of August and we were the first ones in June to get the NOA1 too). We felt a bit hopeless and even started to think terrible scenarios for our Visa Journey, but then this morning, after 81 days after getting the NOA1, we received an email notice from USCIS that said we our I129 was approved!! Such a great feel, and what a relief!

So everyone, stay strong and be patient, that NOA2 will happen!

All I know so far is it's more than a week (I called last Wednesday). I will let you know when I hear something back from them. I'm sure it's on a case by case basis, but the default time they gave to respond was 30 days.

I was reading taatabunny's post about getting the NOA2 and I got all excited, then realized they were processed in Vermont. Are those of us waiting on California just doomed for a 45-year wait? I realize it's only been 50 days for us, but it feels like ages. I can't imagine what it will be like months from now.

Hi guys,

I have just signed up for the forum and can I say how good it feels to see that other people are going as stir crazy as me. We filed our K1 through Vermont, receieved the NOA1 and am awaiting NOA2. We received the NOA1 in beginning of July and im going insane waiting on the NOA2 even though we are still well within 'average time'. It annoys the pants off of me too see that other people gett approved whilst some are still waiting months.

God do they not realise how hard it is to be apart from the one u want to be with!!! Hope im not the only one that feels like they are totally going insane with this stupid process.

Also, I can not see anywhere when i log in to my case to check if its been touched - where abouts is the last updated section/link?

Thanks guys xxxxx

To all who have posted and were awaiting for their NOA2, did any of you guys got approved?

I must say that the VJ sentence on my timeline "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between October 19, 2010 and November 21, 2010*" just depressed the hell out of me....even if it's not 100% accurate...

Also quick question, the 5 months processing time is it for the whole K1 process or is it only for the time between NOA1 to NOA2. I'm confused on that...

Good luck everyone...

We filed on June 30th, got the NOA1 on July 6th and now we're still waiting!
