The best way to find out what the exact waiting period is would be to make an appointment ! If you are @ the packet 3 stage you can .. If you click the Embassy Info tab above under Montreal it gives the names and #'s of all the doctors in Canada ..

Yep, sent back my packet 3 already, just waiting a bit to make the appoitment cuz i wanted my interview date first so i can do it all in one fell swoop since my fiance is coming

I sent back my packet 3 as well, and called and made my appointment with Dr. Seiden's office yesterday. I'm going down to Virginia on August 25 and won't be back until Sept. 5, so I booked my appointment for Sept. 13. No problems whatsoever.

I would give them a call and see what they are like re: appointments, but I don't think you'll have much of a problem

Hey Sarah,

Just wanted to let you know, my case was forwarded to the Embassy yesterday!!!! YEAHHHH, I was so happy to hear it, it took 4 weeks for them to forward it to the day. But it is on the way now, that is all that counts. My fiance now has gotten everything done, his medical,(in Korea you can get that before packet 3, as long as you have the NVC case #) police reports, and is ready to go now. Just have to get packet three now and send back the forms so we can schedule the interview. Just wanted to update you on the situation........ Hope things are moving along smoothly for you too, I see you are about to schedule your medical, Good luck with that...my fiance said it was a very easy exam. Well, in Korea it was anyway.
