Hi, its Parul of DanielParul. I can't login to my orkut, VJ, yahoo and gmail accounts and my friends and family have got emails asking for money saying I am stranded at Heathrow in London. If any of you have received any of these mails, please ignore them :blush:

I am fine and happy right here in Texas with hubby and baby.

Need to update my timeline too. Can't even remember exact dates from 2007.

This exact same scenario has happened to someone else I know - right down to the stranded in Heathrow Airport, send money scenario - and the message was actually posted on another group where I am also a moderator. Shortly afterwards the real owner of the account posted the alarm that her accounts had been hijacked and she was not in Heathrow Airport and she didn't need money and to ignore any such posts.

I have asked Captain Ewok to investigate and meanwhile I will suspend the operation of your other account.

If I were you I would change all my passwords everywhere and soon. Like you have, notify everyone as well. Your VJ account log in information is encrypted but if someone really got your password via other means and has your login the best we can do is to freeze the account and to provide details if a legal route is persued (we can not give the details out without an official request by a law agency being made). Needless to say we treasure your trust and privacy and take that seriously.
