does USCIS send notice to beneficiary?

when a petition is filed, does USCIS send beneficiary a notice (i.e. an I-130/I-129F has been filed on your behalf)?

Not when we filed. The petitioner was the only one who got one, probably due to their desire to save costs. It is heaps cheaper to send something to the US from within the US then constantly send letters internationally

thanks so much! we didnt get anything either but wasnt sure if they notify an dit just wasnt rec'd because mail delivery there is just above nonexistant.

The only time the beneficiary is contacted is after case complete at NVC. He will get an email giving the interview date and he prints that and takes it for his medical and interview appointment.

A thectuallly beneficiary is notified when the case arrives at the NVC STAGE not after the case is approved. Remember NVC request documents from the applicant/beneficiary before the case is approved/completed and sent to the consulate.
