Spouse F1 Visa and minor dependents

My wife from the Balkins has come to the US on an F1 Visa and has brought her three daughters. We are now married and her permanent resident paeprwork, interview, etc are all going well. Our problem is with the her daughter ages 10, 16, and 18. They are all attending school now in America. It seems like we can not find the right answers anywhere. We filled out the I-485 for my spouse and included the childrens names along with I-765 for my spouse and each child. We also submitted I-485 forms for each of the children along with the I-765 forms. We received rejection notices for each of the chilcrens paperwokr stating the following:

"The check amount is incorrect or has not been provided. The correct filinf fee is $930.00. Each applicant between the ages of 14 and 79 must also include an additional $80 fingerprint fee."

We were under the impression that addtional I-485's did not need to be filled out for the dependents of a K-1 visa holder as long as they accompanied the K-1 Visa holder to America. What forms do we fill out for each to get them their permanent resident cards and work permits if they acocmpanied my now wife on a K1 Visa to America and how much for each?

Is she F-1 or K-1? they are different visas. K-1 rules are not the same as F-1.
