that must have been a decade ago! coz the liquor ban has been there for more than 6 yrs... Davao resident here! ;)

the mayor's pretty strict.. a couple of months ago.. he raided bars at 3am... closing them down.. and have them pay fines.. for serving alcohol after 2am. :)

but davao is sooo good right now with the kadayawan festival!! durian cost only Php35.00 per kilo! :)

the street dance is awesome.. sad that i didn't get to be in this year's kadayawan festival.. but i was there last year...

look at my pic below!! :)

I made 3 trips there in 2007 and 2008. I agree the Mayor is strict. Me and the wife will make a return trip there in December

i kid you not! although chris was Php1100.00 coz i only found 1 ticket left that was only Php8.00

we were on the same flight... and got to kalibo! there was a delay that day though.. coz there was a typhoon the day before.. so the flights were delayed... but seriously Php42 or Php43.00 all in! (no more than that!! no hidden charges!) :) you can check it online if there were people who also got theirs for that low low price!! PHp8.00 fares from zest air. :) Php8.00 + online booking charge which i think is Php35.00.. that's what i paid for online. the soda on the plane was actually more expensive!! i bought an orange soda there.. and it cost me PHp50.00!! haha
