No, it wasn't direct. You made a passive aggressive insinuation that there was some sort of 'gang-up' in that thread. Thank you for clarifying it. However, There was no such thing, despite your accusation. There was a lull in posting in OT, so I thought it could be a fun thread. I read the first 10 pages to look for some sort of directions, or at least some pattern that would suggest what the rules of the game were. There were none, so I went forward. There were no insults, nothing that violated TOS, just trying to have some fun and participate.

But apparently, the normal posters in that thread don't want anyone new to post in there, and the moderators validated their desire for a private thread.

No, I never noticed it before about 2 weeks ago. It seemed quite insipid to be honest, and with no instructions or clarification to put things into the proper context, I had no idea what it was about. Like I said before, there was a lull in postings in OT today and thought it could be fun.

I never argued that my posts there were in the spirit of that thread. I know they weren't. And yet, I believe TOS should be the sole means for handing out punitive measures. Just an opinion, I know you don't share it. That's ok.

I don't really see where what happened this evening could be construed as rude. I mean, maybe talking about poops and vomits was a little puerile, but it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular.

And no, I'm not playing dumb. I really am this dumb; I don't have to play at it.

Edit to add: clearly AJ and I are both dumb. We should start a dumb club. Only dumb VJers are allowed to post in the dumb club thread.
