I agree with this one.

My baby is a Canadian 100% and would love to stay in his country. But, alas, I have the more stable life here, and so he's coming to me. If it was the other way around, I would gladly move to Canada, because I love him, and I want to be with him. Regardless of the borders between us and where the better opportunities are.

:star: Cass (bebop the great)

Same scenario for me Cass. My beloved is Canadian 100% and if it were possible for me to go there with my daughter, we would in a NY minute. But he loves me enough to have gone through the K-1 process and come here to be with me...and someday we'll be going home to Nova Scotia...as a family. :luv:

To those who accuse others of sarcasm and judgmental attitudes...stick around a while, I guarantee you you'll see a lot of threads here that will make you shake your head and quite possibly change your attitude. I've been on VJ for almost a year now and I've seen alot. There may have been some judgmental statements made from time to time on here, but THIS thread REEKS of greencard fraud.

I am going to try to be nice here. However that does not mean I will not be direct. If you came to the states for love, fine. It didnt work out, I am sorry. Now you are asking for someone that could file just to help you into the states.....

a) thats immigration fraud.

B) that is a slap in the face to those of us going through this process to be with the ones we love.

c) there is not a person here that will assist you in doing that.

I dont know why it didnt work out, that isnt my business. I will not speculate. However, yes it will flag and it is wrong.

You're making assumptions here. Maybe the guy changed his mind after she got here and cancelled the wedding (it happens all too often). Sounds to me like she just wants to know if she can find another guy and try again AFTER she returns to her country. Do you really think your fiance wants to come to the US ONLY because she loves you?

I agree with you on this issue

Personally, I'd be happy to help her find another guy and start over (not me of course, I'm already taken). It sounds to me like she's not trying to break any laws, she just wants another chance and wants to know what the problems will be.

OP's words

I don't even know even till today it is unfortunate

She only found out today that he wont marry her and is already wanting to know about chances of another petition.

Hmmmmm....Wanting to marry only for a green card is not breaking any laws  Its fraud.

Ah, you need to read between the lines. Why would someone specifically target a K-1 petition, again?

I had absolutely no idea where my sweetheart would originate from. Did you?

Anyone already thinking K-1 has an agenda, to be in the USA. Get with the program and stop the bleeding heart BS.

I'll never get with 'your' BS program, buddy. Maybe he has an agenda, or maybe he just wants to understand his rights and options before he takes the next step. If you read some of his past posts, you'd understand his situation a little more (maybe). If I were in his shoes, I'd want to know what I could and could not do as well. I'd want to know all of my options even if I wasn't sure I'd take them. Sure, maybe he has an agenda, but you don't know what that agenda is or whether it is fraudulant or bona fide. You live in the USA. You have the right to your opinion. You even have the right to voice your opinion in any public forum. You also have the right to be a totally judgemental jerk. Glad to see you exercising those rights buddy. You go ahead and keep doing that while the rest of us seek enrichment to our lives without finding the need to beat on folks... especially those who are going through what I would consider an extremely traumatic experience. BTW - the only agenda that he's specifically stated is that he does not want to overstay his visa. He's a rule follower. Read between those lines.

First off, I am not your buddy.

Direct quote from the OP: "So therefore can I have another petitioner USC

file another k-1 petition for me after my departure?"

You may find this acceptable practice, but having personally travelled and worked in over 60 countries, I know visa fraud firsthand.

OK brilliant one, did you know that Nigeria is the #1 visa fraud country in the world?

Have you ever been there? I have, and worked in the U.S. Embassy Lagos before it was moved to Abuja. Worked in Abuja too.

The visa reject rate for Nigeria is 98.7%.

Before you start challenging statistical and analytical fact, gain the knowledge first.

The OP has an agenda.

The visa reject rate for Nigeria is 98.7%.

That's likely to be for all visa requests, not just K1 visas. I expect K1 visas for Nigerians have a much lower rejection rate.

I agree the OP's goals seem rather suspicious, though.

Sure, either of us would go anywhere to be together, because we love each other and we're adaptable. That doesn't mean he has to pretend to be ambivalent about the United States.

heishe,

You are correct. That is a collective visa statistic. Despite the fact that the Embassy is in Abuja now, the line for visa's at the Lagos Consulate everyday, resembles the hot new ride at your favorite amusement park. Many hundreds in the queue. A sight to see for sure. The city of Lagos has many millions of people. Nigeria collectively has over 125 million citizens, although the estimates are considered well under the actual poulation.

I have nothing against legitimate petitions for any type of visa, only fraudulent ones. Simple as that.

I have followed the OP posts from day one, I am convinced of fraudulent intent.

Ah yeah, a friend of mine was a consular officer in one of Nigeria's neighbor countries; she told a similar story. And almost everyone gets rejected there, too. Fraud was a huge problem; sometimes there were people whose evidence would have been alright had they just told the truth, but they decided to supplement it with fraudulent documents and then they'd be rejected out of hand, and banned. Sad! But people there are really desperate to get here.
