I know this has been asked probably a thousand times so here is one thousand and one. About how long is the average time from receiving the EAD until receiving the Greencard?

It varies dramatically, depending on the USCIS field office involved. It can also vary dramatically from one case to another, depending on a myriad of factors, even at the same USCIS field office.

Anyway, the VJ stats for AOS are here:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aosstats.php?cfl=

Average total time - filing to interview - is 110 days. Average time from interview to receipt of green card is 11 days.

The VJ stats for EAD are here:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadstats.php?cfl=

Average total number of days is 71. If you extrapolate from those averages, then it would be about a month and a half between the EAD and receipt of the green card.

My wife got her EAD on a Friday. Her AOS interview was the following Wednesday. Averages don't really mean anything to each individual case. It's only when your timeline varies radically from the average that you should worry.

12/15/2009 - K1 Visa Interview - APPROVED!

12/29/2009 - Married in Oakland, CA!

08/18/2010 - AOS Interview - APPROVED!

05/01/2013 - Removal of Conditions - APPROVED!
