Dear All,

Me and my fiance are currently filling out all the stuff for our K1 Visa.

We got a question about the service center (to fill out on the Cover letter).

In the new "instructions form I-129F" (expires 02/29/2012) Says we have to file it out to:

PObox 660151

Dallas TX, 75266.

Is it not that you have to send it to Vermont or Cal anymore?

We're in Oklahoma.

Thanks in advance

K1:

09/17/10 - I-129F filed

09/20/10 - Package arrived in Dallas,TX

09/22/10 - NOA1 (e-mail), routed to VSC

Change of Filing Location for Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)

August 12th, 2010

by VJ News

WASHINGTON – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) today announced a change in filing location instructions and addresses for the Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) (Form I-129F). The new instructions, dated 6/14/10, are part of an overall effort to transition the intake of forms from Service Centers to USCIS Lockbox facilities. Centralizing form and fee intake to a Lockbox environment allows USCIS to provide customers with more efficient and effective initial processing of applications/petitions and fees.

Beginning Aug. 3, 2010 all Form I-129F petitions being filed by a U.S. citizen on behalf of a fiancé(e) or spouse must be submitted to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox facility.

For U.S. Postal Service:

USCIS

PO Box 660151

Dallas, TX 75266

For Express mail and courier deliveries:

USCIS

Attn: I-129F

2501 South State Highway 121 Business

Suite 400

Lewisville, TX 75067

Detailed guidance can be found in the updated Form I-129F instructions online at www.uscis.gov (click on the Forms tab).

Your service center will still be Vermont, however the Dallas Lockbox will hold your package until it's ready to be forwarded.

What you see here are only guides and many are out dated as are the forms. You should always double check the information that you get here by going to the official web sites. They should contain the latest and greatest information.
