hey everyone thanks for the supportive words.. things went well today.. no arguments.. we talked alot about what has been going on and we worked somethings out... i wish i can just up and go see him but of course we are trying to save every little that we can and i will be going out there for the interview.. i am hoping that happens very soon.. i spoke to someone at the embassy on friday.. they got our file and sent him packet 3 on wednesday.. so hopefully he gets it by tomorrow and we can keep going forward.. we are trying hard to look at this only because this is the positive thing right now.. hopefully the interview date is next month so that i can see him.. trinidad embassy gives us the date we dont have to call and make it.. thanks again to everyone!

we worked something out for now too,but its a work in progress you know?

have you tried checking your embassy's website to get an idea of how soon your interview will be?

ours is full till mid march

They dont have any info about it. From past statistics i found elsewhere it takes about 40-45 days from the noa2 date. So hopefully its soon. The noa2 date is nov 2nd. I have to do a lil more research.. And yea i know what u mean that its just for now. Hopefully u figure out a way to each other soon.

Alright, all....Weird twist of things. On November 16th, the USCIS said that they were sending me an RFE. So yesterday I received (didn't pick up until today) an envelope marked 11/16 from the USCIS, but the only thing inside was the copy of my birth certificate that I sent.... WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????? There was no letter, no marking, no NOTHING with the birth certificate. Do you think more is coming? I just don't understand...I'm dumbfounded. :help: Why must they toy with us this way??

That's realy weird hloo. They should have atleast attached a letter and state what needed to be done. I think you need to call the service center. Maybe they forgot to attach the letter or something. If I am in that situation i'll go insane. Please call them.

That is weird. I'm surprised they don't communicate with magazine clippings the way kidnappers ask for ransom.

(F) I understand how you feel. How can they be so careless on this matter? We have waited long enough. But I pray and hope for you that everything will be alright. It's just another bump in the road. Goodluck and Godbless you hloo.

I just told my fiance about it; he's irate with all the "games": waiting after 4 months of nothing to THEN send an RFE, expecting an RFE and receiving my birth certificate meanwhile our case says it's in suspense for an RFE...he just quickly said good-bye after ranting about why couldn't he have just come and gotten married and THEN did the paperwork. But we strongly advised NOT to do that by lawyers, and it doesn't matter anyway anymore. I just want someone to TELL me what is going ON over at the CSC!!! And WHY this is so f***** up when ours was a cut and dried case!

it doesnt change things just legally.youll have to be away from each other after getting married for about a year, that would make it even harder

Im very disappointed about my case too. I was happy to finally get the NOA2 but then here comes another months of waiting. it was sent to montreal and in montreal its 4-6months before you get the interview. i thought i can book online for the appointment but i need to wait for their authorization before i can do that. i believe the authorization comes when you receive the packet 4. i never get the packet 3 yet so when will i get that packet 4. last time i checked the earliest interview date for now is march 2,2011 in montreal. so i may get my interview date by may 2011 and im currently pregnant and will be due on May so i guess i will deliver my baby in the interview room. this is really sucks and i really hate this. i never thought it will take this long. they dont realize that in the process they are destroying relationships. :crying::crying::crying:
