Gap1, true story. I get it. Just like getting an RFE feels like they're giving me tasks to test for good behavior. Then after I've completed them, they'll see if I'm ready to be released. So it sucks to see people who entered later, being released w/o. And I know it's cause I didn't do my job 100% from the beginning...

Gap1, your day is coming any day now! If me and LGC got touched, we're all in the same boat. I know how you feel, though. CBM and I had been commiserating since the beginning of June and then she got her approval. Of course I'm happy for her, but it's a lonely feeling in a way.

When I saw our petition got touched, I almost didn't notice it at first. It's been almost 4 months of seeing 07/21/2010 that when I saw 11/16/2010, I thought I was seeing things.

I thought it was really weird my case didn't update online until about 1am EST. I'm only 3 hours ahead of California, so that's 10pm their time. I'm guessing their network or whatever doesn't update until late at night, hence why everyone sees touches and approvals at night or the next morning.

137 days ( nearly 138 ),no touch,no update,no nothing,i have given up up checking USCIS's website.SO is checking his mailbox every day tho,the only thing that is keeping me going is seeing him for chinese new year

I agree with SimplyMacy! It was only a few hours ago I was still in the same boat as you, Gap1! There's still lots of time before Thanksgiving. I'm hoping you get touched today!

My old routine: Obsessively check the USCIS website for updates (which was an utter waste of time, since my case still shows initial review, even though I have hard copy NOA2) and then commiserate on VJ.

My new routine: Obsessively call the NVC, (redial at least 50 times, finally get through, hold for 10-20 minutes, and then be told my case is still in AP. then commiserate on VJ.

I really hope all of you get your NOA2's soon, and then fly through NVC. Frankly, as bad as 139 days at CSC was, this is somehow worse. Why, becasue almost everyone else that was approved the week I was, is already at the embassy. There are less to commiserate with Its also torturous because there is no 'when' could be any day...could be months from now. At least at the CSC we all had that not so magical 5 months. This is the worst form of limbo yet.

ok, end of whine. I see lots of touches for my fellow Junies hope you all get em soon, and avoid the dreaded NVC AP.

We also got touched on November 16! NOA1 date is July 6! Hopefully, the approval is on its way! ugh...I can't wait!
