Yeah I just took that question as asking to describe the circumstances in which we met in person, not how you met as friends or acquaintances. I described the 4 trips we took together in the last 2 years. We met as friends in 07, but I didn't see that as relevant for the purpose of the I-129F since they're just asking us to prove that we met in person. I figure they'll ask for more specific relationship detail at the adjustment of status stage. Hopefully that's right.

I think that's fine. We did something similar, and it didn't seem to be a problem for NOA2. We have lots of proof for my interview and all the rest, so I'm really not too concerned about it.

As I told ygr, my fiance wrote his old A number in for MY A number, but there was no RFE given for it, they seemed to figure it out, so as I said in her thread, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Rest easy and put your energy elsewhere... it shouldn't be a problem!

Yeah oddly enough I'm not too worried about paperwork. I spread out all of the application pieces on the floor in my living room the night I assembled the packet and just combed over every single detail, box, and signature. I initialed just about everything (even the little Post-It notes on the evidence pages). My fiance and I have 150+ photos together just on Facebook and we save every single ticket stub and receipt (we did this before we even thought of applying haha). If they need evidence, we'll give it to them in book form. Who knows though, maybe I missed something.

I'm worried most about the embassy interview, actually. It's confusing with the triplicate copies and to-notarize or not-to-notarize and the sign here but not here stipulations. Anyone filing in the UK want to buddy up and compare packet paperwork when the time comes? My buddy was Amyduck and now, well, that's not happening. :(

That's good, I really like the buddy idea... I should hit up J of JLovesA or Liltiggster.... it's confusing, because not all consulates need the same stuff at the same time, so when I read through the forums I start to freak out by second guessing myself... ugh.

For Montreal, all we really need are the DS forms & to send the checklist back, verifying we've got everything (birth certificate, passport, medical, tax forms, i-134) then actually bring all the stuff on the checklist to the interview. I just keep second guessing myself that I'm wrong.

I know what you mean about "book form". If Montreal wants more evidence, well, we've got 3 years worth of chat & phone records and 2.5 years of pictures and visit evidence, and all the rest.... and by the time our interview comes around in the new year, we will have even MORE evidence.... so it's not a lack of evidence I'm worried about. It's the.... did I get everything perfect, in terms of 3 copies here, 2 copies there, DON'T SIGN HERE, Oh my gosh, why didn't you sign here, sort of thing......

Well in all honesty, something 2 weeks would be fine. I'm trying to keep my cool haha.

My brother's wedding was really awesome. I drank probably a bottle, bottle and a half of wine, though (over the course of 6hrs). Wine never sits well in my stomach though so I was quite ill this morning. So much so that I missed the ceremony of today's wedding. Off to the reception now, though. Same dress, same shoes! Haha

as far as i have heard, the average waiting time for manila embassy is only 40 days,so there is a great possibility that you will get to bring him home.as far as nvc to any embassy in the world goes,it takes worst case scenario up to two weeks to send the case from nvc to manila.its all gonna go really quickly now

I think the chances of us being approved within 2 weeks is pretty good. I have coached A to start religiously checking his mailbox. I'm sure he remembers how annoying that whole month (grr) was of "Did the cheque clear? Did the cheque clear? Did the cheque clear?!?!"

Hey you should add me as a friend on here (I'm writing this from my phone and it's just a pared down version of vj) so I'll see your status updates asap and vice versa!
