Gap1 I hear you...

We have only had one touch since July too, it was July 21st...

I am excited with the Late june filers being approved, hopefully they will start approving early July filers soon! (fingers crossed)!

The pressure of this wait has gotten to our nerves, and lately my fiance and I are having big time issues...

I don´t know if you guys are having the same problems.... :ot:

This is just so hard!!!

I am hoping for the best always! :ot2:

we did,and it was pure stress and nothing more.it was horrible,i feel like we wasted like a month of our life just doing nothing but worrying and attacking each other out of sheer stress

Ygr...I am glad you guys got over it, in my case our situation got a little out of hand, and I am thinking about making drastic decisions....if only our NOA2 got here fast enough..

I am hurt, but not hopeless, just lost...very lost!

sorry about venting....

Rafa and jus.. My fiance and i went through the same thing.. Even to the point where he would say he is tired aand dont wanna be with me anymore then call back right after and apologize.. And thats not even a taste of the things we went through. But we are still together, still argue at times but its not as bad.. U guys will get through it. The stress and frustration gets to u too much and for us it gets bad then good then bad then good. Always up and down which is y i cried when i got a touch yest after nothing since june and i am sure will cry again when i get the actual approval.. Its too much.. But we are working on it

I'm not trying to be smug, but my fiance is amazing and (so far) we haven't had any problems. I guess it's a combination of a few factors. We've only known our relationship long distance. We never had more than a month together at one time, so we never had the chance to get used to each other being around. We're also both extremely talkative and are aspiring writers, so we don't go longer than a sleep cycle without speaking. We also decided to get married very quickly. We've barely been together a year (we've been friends for nearly 4 years). I don't know how anyone deals with this madness for longer than a year. We'd lose our minds. Anyway, I'm sure if we had been separated by an ocean for several years we'd probably be fighting more...but right now we've been in a honeymoon phase for 11 months, and it's showing no signs of stopping. I adore him. Sorry, I gross myself out sometimes.

His mom just bought her dress for the wedding. I think that's pretty sweet.

Nandi8, thank you so much for your words, I have faith we will work this out, after all, we are just going through this whole process cause we know we are the best for each other, so hopefully things will get better...thank u a lot.

Gap1, it´s okay for you to brag about your happiness, it´s the best thing to brag about in life anyways.. (L)

I´ve had that honeymoon phase for the 2 years we lived in the same country and had been together, but this 1 year we have been apart has been rough, and I just hope that the NOA2 will bring that honeymoon phase back to us...I miss it so much!

So, brag as much as you want, you CAN!!

thank you guys!

That's probably why, you were so lucky and had those 2 years together. We haven't even started yet. I wouldn't worry, this is stressful on everyone and you will get through this.

Gap1, that´s so sweet his mother has already picked up her dress!

We don´t really have wedding plans yet, we only know we are getting the big ceremony by the beach here in brasil, and that for sure will be amazing...I keep looking on google for pictures of beach weddings, and I am amazed!

I am sure after this whole process everyones wedding will be very emotional...it´s almost like earning an undefeatble couple´s troufy..hahah

honestly i think the fact that you have regular meeting dates helps a lot.

a lot of us just go with the flow, try to schedule meetings whenever possible, that puts a lot of pressure on the relationship.

PS: i just found out im missing my first marine ball with bee in the states, sucks camel beep

Well as I said, since we've only done this long distance, if we didn't have regular meeting dates we'd not have met! I can barely survive only seeing him every 3 months. This is my last visit though, buying 3 transatlantic flights in 1 year has killed me financially. I think it's safe to think after I leave him in Jan, his next visit will be moving in and by April. I hope.

YGR...By regular meetings I am not quite sure if you meant online meetings or travel meetings..

I would say that the online meetings, like skyping and stuff it´s really helpful, but it kinda get us worked up for seing each other and not be able to touch..urghh

The travel meeting it´s for sure an oasis sighting for a dying dehydrated human being, hahah

I haven´t seen him since April, I think I have died 5 times already

Ps: My love is in the military too, balls are so romantic (L)

i hope so too, even a day away from someone you love enough to spend the rest of your life with feels like a decade, let alone 3 months

I have to agree with you Gap1, my fiance has been WONDERFUL. That's why I haven't been complaining much. We are currently doing our holiday shopping together (albeit by webcam). I love the fact that many places in the UK accept US credit cards. I just shop online and have it shipped to my new overseas families. He, on the other hand, has to tell me what to get and wires the money for his new US families. Are families have been great too and the wedding plans are coming along nicely. This experience has made us stronger. Now I can get off my soapbox and get back to what I was doing. This wait can really test a relationship. Here's to hoping we all are approved THIS month. ;)
