So can anyone else answer my question? Which is, when you were touched (NO status change), did you receive a text or email? This is obviously only for people who have those notifications turned on.

Met: December 2009

Married: April 2015

Received CR-1 visa: February 2017

POE (as IR-1): April 2017

Oath ceremony: November 2020

You don't get notifications for your account being updated or touched. It's ONLY when the status changes. Therefore, although my notifications are turned ON, and I have had four touches in the month of July, I received NO emails/texts to tell me. I had to simply check the website. Hope that clears it up for you!

It does, thank you. The website isn't really clear if that's the case, and it has that note underneath the portfolio box that talks about receiving emails or texts with no status change.

Finally got through to the NVC. Took me two days of trying (was always busy). They have my case, (got my case number) Said everything looks good, and they will be forwarding it to the Embassy in Manila. Wow....such a difference in dealing with the NVC...a real person who really answered all my questions.

Hang tough guys, it gets a lot better. (I know you probably dont want to hear that AGAIN) but it really does.

I want to see some late June/early July approvals! :crying:

At the very least I'd like a touch. I only had 1 the two days after my NOA1 was issued so basically the last time anyone even opened our file was to extract the check.
